Hi, I checked the professor test and this academic meets many of the criteria there.
1. The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources.
His works have been cited for >13k in Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.co.uk/citations?user=m5VhqRkAAAAJ&hl=en) - though I did not put this on the page.
2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level.
He has received many awards, as I put in the last paragraph and the external links section (I originally put these as references but was told to remove them). Note that these links were not written by himself!
3. The person is or has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society for which that is a highly selective honor (e.g., the IEEE).
Yes, he has been elected fellow of many academic societies; again see the last paragraph and the external links.
5. The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research (or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon).
Yes, he currently holds a chair at the University of Edinburgh (see text there).
8. The person is or has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area.
Yes, he was editor of a prestigous journal (Journal of Memory and Language) and was associate editor for Psychological Science, another prestigious journal.
CAN YOU PLEASE ADVICE HOW TO MODIFY THE TEXT TO MEET YOU CRITERION OF PUBLICATION?

Hi I am a new user and I am not sure how to best reply to comments. One thing though, there are comments regarding the sources being unreliable. But all the sources are published webpages that can be verified. Can you list one example source that is unrelable so that I know what you meant. Thanks.
