re: Feral Cat
[edit]Greetings Zhengjdc! Welcome to Wikipedia!
I just reverted some edits that you made to this article, and wanted to explain why. One of the core principles on which Wikipedia is founded is the idea of reliable sources. Information cannot be added based on personal knowledge, and it cannot be taken out based on personal disagreement. If information is reliably sourced, that is what we go with.
If you have a disagreement with information in an article, I strongly urge you to find reliable sources which meet Wikipedia's criteria, and add that information. You might leave a note on the articles talk page to see if other editors can help in this regard. Generally, as a community, we discuss edits that involve the removal of sources that are already accepted as being reliable.
No harm done, but rather than revert and run, I wanted to explain myself. Best of luck. LonelyBeacon (talk) 02:23, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:57, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
