Do you do translation?

Just wondering--108.230.112.104 (talk) 06:05, 10 February 2012 (UTC) Just wondering and please reply. Thanks--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:06, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes. Can I do something for you? Thank you. Zhaofeng Li (talk) 06:07, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Well, you see, that, I hope you can translate the plot summary of the TV show Scarlet Heart to zh:步步驚心 (電視劇), because the users on the Chinese Wikipedia just simply copy and paste the synopsis from the series' official site than write in their own words, which violates the copyrights. Also, can you expand Bu Bu Jing Xin (novel) using info from baidu.com, and also can you please create a Chinese version of the Wikipedia article?--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:23, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
OK. I will do it asap. Maybe I can finish the translation today(Beijing time), but I'm not sure. By the way, info in Baidu Baike is using CC BY-NC-ND for its license, which doesn't allow us to modify its contents. So I don't want to violate the license. Zhaofeng Li (talk) 06:36, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Well, just do whatever you like.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:42, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Mmmm. There's already a plot summary in the Chinese version. Do you want me to expand it? Zhaofeng Li (talk) 06:43, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
That is not a plot summary. It is a synopsis from the series' official site, which violating the copyright. The users there are just copy and paste them instead of writing in their own words.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 07:25, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks--NeoBatfreak (talk) 02:17, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
In showing my appreciation of the translation, here a link for you to download a copy of the offcial soundtrack, in case you haven't already purchased it.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 08:12, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you very much. By the way, you did a great job of improving my translation. It's much better now. ;-) Zhaofeng Li (talk) (contrib) 08:22, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
I only did some of it, I can't claim all the credits. Other users did it too. Although the plot summary also made the article very long, so I split the cast list to create a subpage. Hope that's okay with everyone.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 08:48, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Having trouble with approval

Hi there,

I've read over the different criteria for getting my article on GWL Realty Advisors published; looking at our parent company, [Great-West Life Assurance Co.], I'm having trouble seeing the differences between the types of references I've included in the entry I've written and the ones that are in that already-published article. Can you give me a hand and let me know a bit more specifically what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Janelle Weed, Communications and New Media Specialist, GWL Realty Advisors — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gwlra2011 (talkcontribs) 19:50, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

At a first glance, there's nothing wrong with the article. Can you explain? Thank you.Zhaofeng Li (talk|contrib) 09:04, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Google Authenticator, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Latest revision

Paul Dano was not born in New York City. He was born in Mill Valley, CA. Therefore, it is a falsehood to put in the biographical information that he was born in New York, since it directly contradicts the body of the Wikipedia article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.225.20.135 (talk) 00:15, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

I'm so sorry for putting the wrong notice to your talk page. I think that I clicked the wrong link. Your edit was successful, but why not put a <ref> tag to prove that you're right? Thank you and sorry again for the mistake, you can remove the notice now.Zhaofeng Li (talk|contrib) 00:25, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Zhaofeng Li was correct, somebody vandalized the page in February 24. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:26, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Vandalism warnings

Edits that you disagree with are not the same thing as vandalism. Don't leave vandalism warnings on editor's talk pages when they've made legitimate edits that you're not happy with, as you did here. 94.2.156.119 (talk) 19:20, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Oh, sorry for that. I saw you removed a lot of things from the article(-1320) so I thought it was a sort of section blanking at first. Yes, www.loopzorbital.com is a personal blog and it isn't a reliable source(see WP:USERG). And it's right to remove questionable materials from articles. I'll remove the notice. Sorry again for the wrong revert! Zhaofeng Li (talk|contrib) 00:28, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Much appreciated. It's unusual to read a response like this, I was expecting a negative reply! You were so reasonable that you inadvertently highlighted my assumption that you were acting in bad faith :-) Thanks again, hope to see you around. Dear Author/Zhaofeng Li

My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address edited an article on Influenza. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article and or other health-related articles. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please reply via my talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain (talk) 13:12, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello Zhaofeng Li

Thank you very much for your interest in my dissertation study. The first part involves the online questionnaire following this link:https://opinio.ucl.ac.uk/s?s=18871 Once you complete the survey I would like to interview you, if possible over Skype or phone. Alternatively I can e-mail you the questions and you can complete them in your own time. Just a note, the study is slowly coming to a close, so I would kindly ask you to send those in by the end of the week. Thank you! any questions, just e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk.
