Greenville
[edit]I understand the position that you advance; however, it's is at odds with nationwide consensus. Throughout the United States, our articles on census-designated places are based on the boundaries of those census-designated places, and articles are entitled for the official names of localities instead of unofficial alternate names. If the article be about the unofficial community, then the geography and demographics sections are inappropriate, for hamlets have neither specific boundaries nor specific populations. Notable residents
[edit]Did you remove most of the notable residents from that section? There were many significant ones, including Bugsy Siegel [notorious gangster] and Debra Markowitz [Vermont's Secretary of State]. Zfalk (talk) 04:01, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
Description
[edit]Edgemont is not an "alternative name", it is what all would call it. Nobody would say that they were from Greenville, unless they were referring to the Greenville neigborhood which makes up only half of Edgemont. I assume you do not live in New York, as CDP boundaries stretch across counties, towns, school districts and are largely unknown and utterly useless. Please see the article's talk page for more verification. Zfalk (talk) 04:01, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

The article Tuscadero Sandwich has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability or even existence.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kilopi (talk) 06:43, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
