Not the way to address problems

I have just had to undo your removal of permission templates from a whole lot of images, after I addressed the issue on your talk page. You have not responded to the issues raised on your talk page, and have instead removed the discussion I have attempted to start with you, and have removed the permission needed template from the files. At least one of these files has been uploaded to Commons, where I am somewhat inclined to now speedy delete it from the site, given actions by yourself here. Is there any explanation as to why you have done that? And know that I am not having a go at you, but it is awfully suspicious when an issue is raised with an editor, and they simply ignore it and remove templates which concern themselves with copyright issues. --Russavia ^{I'm chanting as we speak} 16:05, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Not so terse, please

Hello! I sincerely appreciate your use of edit summaries; it seems to be a concept too difficult for a lot of editors. However, if you're going to describe an edit as "corrections", it would be nice to have an idea of what those corrections were, or what you thought was wrong (or why). In the case of this particular edit, you moved huge sections around such that it's not easy to compare one version with another; you might have added a bunch of references to Charles Chaplin owning the airline, or claimed that Jupiter is the emperor of Uruguay (if you see what I mean). Wind Jet New Route

Hi again

I have a problem. I am trying to find out where Wind Jet will be flying from to Malaga. They are definately starting to fly to Malaga (Says on Aena.es) but i ant find out where it will be to? could you possibly Help?

Use of brackets/commas

Please note that brackets were not "dropped a while ago". Correct English dictates that brackets are used in such instances, not commas. Put simply, commas separate parts of a sentence, brackets indicate text that provides additional information but is not integral to the structure of the sentence. Indicating the stylistic formatting of a company name is considered additional text, but not necessarily essential to the sentence structure. Throughout wikipedia, this information is provided within brackets, and there is no reason in Wikipedia or grammar to change this. Nouse4aname (talk) 08:55, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately you were misinformed previously. I have explained above why brackets should be used and not commas, and you can see their widespread usage throughout Wikipedia in similar circumstances. Incidents and accidents sections of airline articles.

Hi,

Please familiarise yourself with the content guidelines for airline articles at WikiProject Airlines. There is longstanding consensus on the criteria for inclusion of aircraft incidents / accidents in Airline articles (not separate articles) which states that:

Accidents or incidents should only be included if:

• The event was fatal to either aircraft occupants or persons on the ground;
• The event involved hull loss or serious damage to the aircraft or airport;
• The event resulted in changes to procedures, regulations or processes affecting airports, airlines or the aircraft industry.

These guidelines were drawn up to avoid airline (and indeed airport) articles from becoming cluttered with minor, non-notable incidents. The Flydubai incident does not meet these criteria, that is why is has been removed from the page. If we included engine failures / shutdowns on airline pages there would be some long lists for many airlines! That is why we have the criteria above.

What I would suggest for you is to contact the Farsi/Persian Wikipedia on its embassy page. A Wikipedian in Iran could procure a schedule of the airline and upload it on another website, and that schedule could be used as a source WhisperToMe (talk) 16:27, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
