Speedy deletion nomination of Gilak LGBT Community
[edit]A tag has been placed on Gilak LGBT Community, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is an "attack page" or an unsourced biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone. (See section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity, or articles about living people that are entirely negative and unsourced. Attack pages, attack files and negative unreferenced BLPs are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing - It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Gilak LGBT Community is under discrimination if considered as "Speedy deletion". Please, do not discriminate against the Gilak LGBT community. Zandwiki (talk) 06:23, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, Zandwiki,
- This was not an article about a LGBT community but an article where you could write about a scandal. That is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. We also don't use tabloid sources. Please don't create this kind of content on this project.
- If you have questions about article creation, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 06:31, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- You are not legally permitted to label LGBT Community subject as "Sacandal". This is considered as "Hate Speech" and would have legal consequences. Zandwiki (talk) 06:37, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- The sources you used in that article show that this had nothing to do with an LGBT community about about embarrassing living people. You can take this to WP:ANI or Wikipedia:Deletion review if you want to persist in your denials but it could end up as quite an embarrassment. Please stop acting as if you are an LGBT ally when that is not your intent. Liz Read! Talk! 06:45, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- 1. Be polite and not aggressive and threatening in using words: (a) "Please stop acting as if you are an LGBT ally when that is not your intent" and (b) "it could end up as quite an embarrassment"
- 2. you have labeled LGBT community article as "Scandal" ; I reminded the legal consequences: calling LGBT Community topics as "Scandal" is definitely "Hate Speech" against a protected group. Zandwiki (talk) 07:02, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
