Tilk

is a type of drink which mixes both tea and milk together. Basically it means tea with milk. This word came into English as people in England drink tea with milk but they still call it tea. Therefore, this word is invented and has been used by a number of English and Kurdish people. Examples: Lareen is very into tilk. I really like drinking tilk in the morning and people say it is very good for sore throat.

Rains mice and fliesItalic text

This expression means the rain is fine and not heavy. It is simply means a fine rain. This expression is opposite to the expression "rains cats and dogs" which is literally mean raining very heavily. Thus, this expression is invented to connote that the rain is very slow and fine.

Examples:

Hey Salwa, you don't have to wear your raincoat. It is only raining mice and flies.

I love walking when it is raining mice and flies.

In Kurdistan, it usually rains mice and flies in fall.
