- Hello, I perfectly understand that I can be in a situation of "conflict of interest" - but it still remains to be proven that I have indeed written anything non verifiable, non objective, non relevant, or giving too much weight, credit or what have you, to this article. I have tried to give plain information about the journal (topics of recent and forthcoming issues), nothing that should be considered as advertising, propaganda or anything of the sort. I would love for someone to tell how anything I added to that page is eventually not "neutral", "biased" etc.
- And if anything is, I will happily delete it or let anyone else do so.

In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Another option
[edit]I don't know what the issues are surrounding "Volume!" at this time. When several editors discussed this the first time I thought the matter settled. It did not occur to me that this article may come up at AfD. Unfortunately, at this time I am not able to get involved. In any case I reccomend a section in the "Music of France" article as an alternative. I have created such a section here. ---- Steve Quinn (talk) 14:15, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- The problem is that Volume is now more and more international (we receive more articles from the anglo-saxon world than from France, because there is not enough space in the other popular music journals, such as Popular Music, Popular Music & Society). Plus, anyway, Volume is not a journal of French popular music, but a French journal of popular music studies - articles dealing with France are not predominant.

Regarding comments at the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Volume! AfD discussion, the red link appearing in the AfD template is almost always corrected (from my experience) by simply purging the page.
