[edit]The article overhaul is going in the right direction. Adding to the uses is a very helpful addition as it can contextualize the mineral for people who are learning about it for the first time. Another thing that could be added to the article, or really clarified is the mining section. As the article is now it is not structured well and doesn't make much sense, there is opportunity to go into the methods and ect of mining Chromite. As it is you are heading in the right direction, just try to remember to make it approachable to non-geologists. Hilarynwilson (talk) 15:30, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for the review Hilary!
I did plan on doing the methods for Chromite and adding more on its uses. I like the idea of making the information more approachable to non-geologist so that more users on the article can interact with the information and understand it better. As you explained in your review that the mining section should be clarified, I agree as this is an essential part in explaining what chromite is and how it is found.
Thanks for the thoughtful review and I will make the changes you suggested soon!

[edit]ideas are clearly expressed, provides information that makes the article better, great sources, however there’s one source dating back to 1997, it would be better to found an up to date source, but overall great work Mohammedmugallid (talk) 23:42, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for the review!
Also to address the source that is listed as 1997, it is actually from 2008 but I must have messed up the citation when talking about the Porcelain use of chromite. I will be sure to fix that when moving my work into the Wikipedia article.
Thanks again for the review!

Hi Zaigham,
My suggestions for the chromite page are to maybe clarify and reorder what belongs in occurance and what belongs in uses. Definitely elaborate on its use towards steel production, I believe this is a big use of chromium. Good article choice, definitely requires updating. --Matt.trenkler (talk) 17:49, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you Matt for the review!
I will definitely reorder most things in this article and yes I agree about the use of steel for chromium. I will definitely make these changes in the following weeks.
