Body terminology edit at Transgender sexuality
[edit]Hello Zaiden, and let me also extend my welcome to Wikipedia.
I noticed this edit of yours at Transgender sexuality. I think there is lots that is good here, but it could use some improvement. The proper place to discuss improvements to a specific article is at its Talk page, so I've left comments about it here. Please have a look at it, and respond there. (When replying to Talk page threads, please follow proper indentation and other Talk page conventions, as explained at WP:THREAD, and remember to always sign your Talk page comments using four tildes. Pinging User:Elysia (Wiki Ed).
I know you are here for a class, but I hope you enjoy the experience, and decide to stay on afterward as an editor, working on articles of your choice just for the fun of it. I think you would become a good editor and an asset to the encyclopedia. If you have any general questions about editing, feel free to ask at my Talk page. Mathglot (talk) 20:32, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
Standard notice about editing gender-related articles
[edit]Here is the standard notice about editing gender-related articles that I mentioned to you at Talk:Transgender sexuality. Basically, the notice informs you that beyond all the regular rules around here, there are a more stringent set of rules governing the behavior of editors who edit in certain controversial areas, like gender, that you need to know about. Please read it. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 20:50, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date. You have shown interest in (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. Mathglot (talk) 20:50, 26 April 2019 (UTC) |
