[edit]Hello, I'm Dwpaul. Your recent edit to the page The Promenade Shopping Centre appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Pleased see Talk:The Promenade Shopping Centre and discuss this change. Do not continue to insert this unsourced information. Dwpaul Talk 01:38, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at The Promenade Shopping Centre. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Dwpaul Talk 01:40, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did to The Promenade Shopping Centre, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ruby Murray 01:48, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Promenade Shopping Centre. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ruby Murray 01:50, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at The Promenade Shopping Centre, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Ruby Murray 01:51, 17 January 2014 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]You've been blocked for the reasons identified above. Ground Zero | t 02:43, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Zack, now that my temporary block has expired, you have started edit warring again immediately. In particular, you are adding a list of stores to a paragraph that already has such a list in it. If you continue like this, I will block you for a longer time. Ground Zero | t 03:20, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- As you are continuing your disruptive editing, I will block you for a longer period. This will give you an opportunity to review Wikipedia policies and learn how to contribute constructively. I recommend that you review Wikipedia:Consensus and Wikipedia:Edit warring, in addition to WP:V and WP:RS. Also, your edits often have punctuation or formatting errors in them. Don't expect that other editors will clean up after you. If you are not willing to make sure that your edits improve the article, you can expect that other people will revert them. Blanking the article as you did here was completely unacceptable. I am a volunteer administrator on Wikipedia, but I do not work for the organization. Ground Zero | t 13:54, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

- Zack, please see this revision of the article after the change you made (subsequently reverted) to see at least in part why it was not constructive. Note the markup characters introduced at the top of the article with your edit. Please consider testing your edits in your sandbox before you apply them to a live article. Dwpaul Talk 20:14, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- Zack, I marked the photo you uploaded and added to this article as a potential copyright violation at the Commons [1] because it is published at http://www.promenade.ca/EN/directory/Pages/ListStoresA-Z.aspx, which site is ©2011 Cadillac Fairview Corporation. The fact that it is returned in a Google search has nothing to do with the copyright status of an image. See Wikipedia:Image use policy. Dwpaul Talk 20:48, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:The Promenade Shopping Centre with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Promenade Shopping Centre, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You obviously have a major conflict of interest regarding this mall, and I am requesting you to stop editing this article. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia, you should do so to some other topics in which you are interested. —SMALLJIM 21:46, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
