Leib Tropper and BLP
[edit]Hi, Leib Tropper is a living person. That means that he is covered under Wikipedia's biography of living persons policy. One consequence is that we need to be very careful with sourcing. We in general need to be very careful about the use of blogs because they generally are not considered reliable sources by our WP:Reliable sources policy. This is all the more the case when it involves very serious accusations. We need to wait until this is covered by newspapers or the like before we can include it in the Wikipedia article. This will likely occur within a day or two, so please be patient. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on my talk page User talk:JoshuaZ. Thanks. [edit]Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Leib Tropper. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jayjg (talk) 03:56, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:05, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
