Welcome!

Hello, ZZSETHZz, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Seth (Pianist), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Seth (Pianist), to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]

Please refrain from writing autobiographical articles, as you did at Seth (Pianist). Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged; if you create such an article, it may be deleted. All edits to articles must conform to our policies on no original research, neutral point of view, and avoid conflicts of interest. Please remember that Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, not a personal webspace provider. If your achievements are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 01:50, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Seth (Pianist) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JamesBWatson (talk) 01:50, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:47, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please read your welcome template

[edit]

Hello Seth, A welcome template was posted on your page with information that may be useful to you. One aspect that I would like to remind you of is the importance of signing your posts on talk pages. This is done so other editors know exactly who made a comment. The way to sign your posts is to insert four tilde's in this form ~~~~. This will create a signature with a link to your user page and your talk page. It will also give the time of your edit. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, and you can always leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Ryan Vesey (talk) 02:56, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your request that you receive your page, I am not an administrator and am unable to do it. You can either wait for JamesBWatson or you can ask any of these administrators. They have all stated that they are willing to restore deleted pages. I am not sure if this will be possible because your page was deleted via CSD not PROD. The final solution is to make a request at deletion review. Ryan Vesey (talk) 02:56, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
