Peer Review

[edit]

Major Points:

- It would be helpful if you could include a summary of the article you are editing/adding to on your user page, as it's not clear whether you are adding these sections to a page or updating previously existing sections. It would also be beneficial to know what information you are striving to add or make more clear.

- Citations need to be added to these sections, as this is a detailed scientific topic.

- It might be beneficial to include one or two examples of studies that concluded that metal and metal oxide NPs have detrimental effects on cells. It's not necessary to go into too much detail, but naming a couple of the studies and how they were conducted could provide a more solid background.

Minor Points:

- Under "Coatings and Charges," the word "implementatifon" should be "implementation"

Peer Review 2: wild-eidolon

[edit]

Hey there! This is going to be a bit of an incomplete peer review, since I don't really have the context and information needed in order to fully understand your topic and what you plan to do with the Wikipedia article you're editing. Make sure at some point or another to write about article you're editing, why you're editing it, and what changes you plan on making in your user page.

Your writing style is good and I think you did a good job of clearly discussing the content. One thing I would recommend is trying to understand a layperson's view of the topic you're discussing, and doing your best to make it as easily understandable as possible. One way to do this is to hyperlink to other Wikipedia articles; for instance, you may want to hyperlink semi-conductor, thermoelectric, anti-bacterial, oxidation, apoptosis, etc. Just so people who might not know what those words mean can easily look them up!

Like Elke mentioned, be sure to cite sources as much as you can. Since this is very scientific, you'll need multiple reputable sources.

Minor points:

  • before using abbreviations like NP, be sure to spell out the word at some point in its entirety ("Metal and metal oxide NPs (nanoparticles)...").

A tag has been placed on Z.atom/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
