[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Ethiopia, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your edits adding images
[edit]They aren't working, you need to look at a page when you finish and if it hasn't worked, fix it or revert. Thanks. Doug Weller (talk) 12:09, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Yusuf ahmed
[edit]Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Oromo people. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Please do not change attributed information to something other than what the source actually says. Thanks. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:01, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Ayman2014.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Ayman2014.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 19:58, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit]- Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edit(s) to Oromo people, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:16, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Oromo people. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 21:59, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Harari Region. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:33, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Oromo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Oromo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:50, 5 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 22:50, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

- This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Oromo people, you will be blocked from editing. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 00:34, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Please be aware that you essentially deleted this entire page. Please learn how to edit in Wikipedia before carrying out any more edits.--Hontogaichiban (talk) 23:12, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Yusufisfine, if you carry on in this manner you are going to find yourself subject to another block. I don't think you are intending to be disruptive, but unfortunately that has been the effect of your edits. I am also warning you about making personal attacks against other editors (as you did here). Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:54, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
One last chance
[edit]Yusufisfine, I am giving you one last chance here. You cannot upload images unless the source explicitly says the image is in the public domain. If you do not agree to this I see no option but to block you indefinitely. Dougweller (talk) 08:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
