Proposed deletion of Sam Samnang

The article Sam Samnang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails NFOOTY as has not played or managed in senior international football nor played or managed in a fully professional league. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

The article Orn Chanpolin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails NFOOTY as has not played senior international football nor played in a fully professional league. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy GNG. Currently also a BLPPROD as he sole reference refers to another player.

Recent creations

Hi Yun Raska, I noticed that you recently created several articles on cambodian footballers. Unfortunately it does not appear that any of them meet our notability criteria. For information our subject specific notabiliy guideline is WP:NFOOTY. Essentiallly this states that players who have not played senior international football have to have played in a league that is deemed fully professional not just professional in part. A list of leagues where consensus has been reached that this is so can be found at WP:FPL. Where this criterion is not met players have to show wider general notability through significant reliable coverage in independent sources. Additionally one article you created Keo Soksela has been deleted as being essentially the same article that was agreed to be about a non notable player here. The article Hok Sochivorn has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
