Hello, CentreLeftRight. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2020 LJL season".

File source problem with File:China Democratic League logo.png
Thank you for uploading File:China Democratic League logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Undoing Modifications at "The Internationale"
Greetings, Your modifications at "The Internationale" has been undone due to an improper classification under the "Bengali Translation". The "Literal English Translation" was replaced by you to be put under "Transliteration". Additionally, the "Transliteration" was removed by you. This has been considered as an improper classification of articles. Thus, it has been undone. Please check the credibility of the modification before considering publishing it further on. --Striving for excellence (talk) 12:28, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
Alex Parent
I redlinked Alex Parent because as an Ontario MPP he is notable enough for an article and there will eventually be one on him. (See 22nd Parliament of Ontario) 199.7.157.124 (talk) 1:31, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
Undone modificationi in Aegukka
In the other links you made aegukga to "aegukga". this is not needed because it is a real song, and I you are making it not like one. 14.0.236.40 (talk) 08:39, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- Quotation marks (") have more than one meaning. In this case, the quotation marks are not being used to imply that Aegukga is "fake". Song titles are always referred to with quotation marks on Wikipedia and in English-language academic/formal writing in general. This helps distinguish titles of works (e.g. songs) from the rest of a sentence. See MOS:QUOTEMARKS for more policy details. CentreLeftRight ✉ 19:05, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
Your edit to Kathoey
Not sure what you had in mind with this edit to the lead of Kathoey. Besides the fact that it lacked a source, it turned reality on its head as Thailand is the country that performs more SRS procedures than any other. Please keep WP:Verifiability in mind while you're editing, and make sure everything is citable to a reliable source. In addition, the lead should generally be a summary of sourced material already found in the body of the article, so you don't want to add new information to the lead that isn't already found in the body in some form, and this certainly wasn't. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 04:52, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
- Also, please don't make pointless changes to capitalization of template names as you did here to Kathoey. Such changes have no effect on the rendered page, and are not an improvement to the article. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 04:59, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
Inappropriate use of Rollback

Cambodian People's Party
Thanks for spotting the 12-year-old copyvio at Cambodian People's Party. I've decided not to revdel all the subsequent edits per Wikipedia:Revision deletion#Large-scale use and leaving it at your removing the offending material as being sufficient. Long standing copyvios like this are a difficult situation and get frequently discussed at WP:AN (I'd link to the latest discussion if I could find it) where the general tone is to leave be in old cases like this. I don't think you were wrong in any way in flagging this case and I'd urge you to carry on spotting them. But if you do think it should be revdel'd I'm not going to be offended in any way if you ask for a second opinion. Nthep (talk) 17:12, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

New Page Patrol newsletter September 2021
Hello Yue,
Please join this discussion - there is increase in the abuse of Wikipedia and its processes by POV pushers, Paid Editors, and by holders of various user rights including Autopatrolled. Even our review systems themselves at AfC and NPR have been infiltrated. The good news is that detection is improving, but the downside is that it creates the need for a huge clean up - which of course adds to backlogs.
Copyright violations are also a serious issue. Most non-regular contributors do not understand why, and most of our Reviewers are not experts on copyright law - and can't be expected to be, but there is excellent, easy-to-follow advice on COPYVIO detection here.
At the time of the last newsletter (#25, December 2020) the backlog was only just over 2,000 articles. New Page Review is an official system. It's the only firewall against the inclusion of new, improper pages.
There are currently 706 New Page Reviewers plus a further 1,080 admins, but as much as nearly 90% of the patrolling is still being done by around only the 20 or so most regular patrollers.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process or its software.
Various awards are due to be allocated by the end of the year and barnstars are overdue. If you would like to manage this, please let us know. Indeed, if you are interested in coordinating NPR, it does not involve much time and the tasks are described here.
To opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself here. Sent to 827 users. 04:31, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
September 2021
Your recent editing history at Mid-Autumn Festival shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 01:59, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
You should probably self revert, you’re over five in the last 24h so its into automatic block territory if someone brought it to the noticeboard. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 02:00, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Shouldn't the clashes and skirmish descriptions added? Anyone visiting the website would need to know about it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Duke of Rangoon (talk • contribs) 12:32, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Duke of Rangoon: If you are referring to this edit of mine, the purpose of an infobox is to compliment, not supplant, information in the article body. In other words, you are correct that the descriptions of the PDF's clashes should be included ... in the article body as prose. The infobox is not a place to exhaustively list every engagement of the PDF, because the list will get way too long without accompanying context elsewhere in the article. why did you reverted my edit? I know some might be incorrect but not all. Sir, fix the thing that are incorrect but not all. PDF has 25,000+ PDF men power because PDF has been growing for 3 months. They contain about 8000+ soldiers per month. My edit of casuitie is correct. NUG reported in about August that 2000+ TATMADAW's soldiers died and local PDF also reported that 30+ TATMADAW's soldiers dies per day when the battle happens.PDF also reported that that most of their loeses caused my heavy artileary strikes, helicopter attack and bombings .E.U,U.S and their allies support NUG by rejecting MILITARY.

hey, why did you delete my article? Neyya Swan Yi (talk) 16:46, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- Dark Clouds of Joy changed the article to a redirect and I am proposing that the redirect be deleted. If I had to guess Dark Clouds of Joy's reasoning for changing your new article to a redirect, it is because it is a mirror of Internal conflict in Myanmar and has the exact same issues I mentioned previously to you. The entire article body is unsourced and the only sources given are carried over from Internal conflict in Myanmar due to the infobox being copy-and-pasted. Where are you getting your numbers from? 80,000 and 150,000 PDF soldiers, 350,000+ Tatmadaw soldiers, and 4,000 Tatmadaw dead? If these are claimed by the PDF, you can add them first to the article body of Internal conflict in Myanmar with a source from the PDF, and then to the infobox with the note, "(since 2021, PDF claim)". Thanks for your contribution to the 2021 Canadian federal election
Hello, I am also an active editor when it comes to Canadian politics...and I just want to thank you for reverting that highly unconstructive edit in 2021 Canadian federal election. IPs steamrolling through political articles sometimes stresses me out, especially when the edits are unnecessary.
Also the same IP did a weird edit for the 2019 Canadian federal election too. Ak-eater06 (talk) 04:34, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

Strength
I edit that PDF strength and I also gave the link of Yee Mon's interview. He said that " I cannot tell the strength".
You're right that he expect around 8000 troops by the end of July. This is nearly the end of December. So, the size of PDF is more than 8000 by now. Why can't you guys except that The Strength Is Unknown and it is true that the strength is really unknown.
With Respect Yours Neyya Swan Yi (talk) 07:09, 25 December 2021 (UTC)Neyya Swan Yi
- @Neyya Swan Yi: I understand your reasoning. I added "July 2021" in parentheses for clarity in my follow-up edit so it is clear to readers that the number is outdated. However, all information displayed in the infobox should reflect what is in the article. I was about to add "Unknown (as of December 2021)" above "<8,000 (July 2021)", but I realised there is no reason for me or anyone else to add obvious information. Proposed deletion of Shirley Nelson
Please note that the Harper-Saxton Fellowship, also known previously as the Saxton Prize from Harper and Row Publishers (aka Harper-Collins), is indeed a prestigious award, and has been won by notable authors such as James Baldwin, Ken Kesey (whose Wikipedia article calls this award "prestigious,") Frederick Exley, and Craig Nova, among others. Also note that Shirley Nelson's novel The Last Year of the War was reviewed in over 35 mainstream publications including The New Yorker, the New York Times Book Review, the Los Angeles Times, and the Christian Century. Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan
Hi, I was looking at Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan. The history is that of Socialist Resistance of Kazakhstan, a Trotskyist Party affiliated to International Socialist Alternative, but the name and website are that of an organisation from the Stalinist tradition. I am not sure that Socialist Resistance of Kazakhstan still exists. At least it is not mentioned on the ISA website. But it did for a time and shouldn't be confused with a currently functioning party from a different tradition. Is it possible to make them two separate pages again? Vahvistus (talk) 22:57, 6 January 2022 (UTC).
- @Vahvistus: Done. I made a mistake because the website that was already given in the infobox was of the Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan, not the Socialist Resistance of Kazakhstan. I thought the former was the new name of the latter, but I reread the Kazakh on the Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan's flag and they are clearly not the same. Committee for a Workers' International
This was a bold edit and redirect. It goes against the consensus of the discussion in the talk page. The main problem with the new name and tense markers is that it makes a claim that the original CWI is still active and therefore is the organisation that currently carries that name. If you check the talk page you will see that the editor ابو علي (Abu Ali) made the same point, but the consensus did not agree with him and the key reason was that Committee for a Workers' International (2019) never claimed to be the organisational continuation. Their position was they were the political heirs of the CWI and had refounded the CWI. The actual CWI organisation at its conference voted to change its name but, claims to be the organisational continuation of the CWI. The waters are further muddied by members of the refounded CWI (2019) having control over the CWI website. All the CWI articles prior to 2019 can also be found on the ISA website. I fear that by ignoring the talk page discussion you have hit on a solution which in simplifying is misleading. Vahvistus (talk) 20:06, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Vahvistus: You can revert the move if you want and I will not oppose. The reason why I moved the article is because Committee for a Workers' International redirected to Committee for a Workers' International (1974) and Committee for a Workers' International (2019) did not exist. If this is against the consensus, it far predates my first viewing of the article. CentreLeftRight ✉ 20:08, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

EXPLAIN
How is a nation not the same as a country, it makes no sense aren't they synonymous terms? Proletarian Banner (talk) 20:32, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- They are used synonymously in casual conversation but not in academic writing. A scholar of political science, history, economics, international relations, or a similar field will recognise that a "nation" is an imagined community which can be a nation state (e.g. France) or not have a state of its own (e.g. Kurdistan). "Country" tends to mean a state, a polity which has a government that controls territory marked by defined borders. A country / state can be one homogenous nation (e.g. China) or consist of many nations, as the Soviet Union argued it was (a federation of republics and peoples). Regarding revert you made of my edits
You reverted some templates I inserted on Dashan and that was the correct thing to do. I have no memory of editing that article and was almost certainly not in a fit state of mind. I apologize, and I thank you for cleaning up a mess I made without any fuss or drama. Sincerely, Jasphetamine (talk) 19:48, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Jasphetamine: No worries. Adding the templates would have been fine so long as you brought up why you did so on the talk page; there is nothing inherently messy or wrong about those edits of yours. All the best, CentreLeftRight ✉ 19:53, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

Yours Editor in Myanmar (talk) 15:12, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Editor in Myanmar: I will put all your photos into a gallery. However, as the origin and copyright information of most of the photos are unclear, they may be removed by administrators at Wikimedia Commons. I do not know if the administrators at the Myanmar Wikipedia deal with the copyright differently, considering Myanmar has different laws governing productions within its borders. If the photos do get deleted on Wikimedia Commons, you can add an external link to the gallery you got the photos from to the article 8888 Uprising. All the best, CentreLeftRight ✉ 21:29, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- @CentreLeftRight:
- Ohh
- Thanks for letting me know.
- I think found out why most of my upload are against some copyright rules.
- So, I'll upload them again if they have been deleted.
- If that happened, would you mind doing that gallery again?
- @Editor in Myanmar: The gallery is pretty easy to do; you can look at the code for it right now at 8888 Uprising. I support your efforts to give the article more visual representations, but I do not recommend reuploading those photos if they get deleted unless you have a proper source or copyright information. You might get banned by the administrators for violating the copyright policy more than once. CentreLeftRight ✉ 05:58, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- @CentreLeftRight:
- Yeah.
- Thanks for your ideas.
- But what I said above was reuploading these photos with proper copyright.
- I'll check the gallery code
- Thanks again,bro.

Regarding the South Korea article talking about political scandals in recent years
Given WP:Lead, is it even right to have that phrase, "However, political scandals have been problems in recent years; both living former South Korean presidents have been sentenced to prison for various crimes ranging from abuse of authority to bribery and embezzlement, with one, Lee Myung-bak, still serving his sentence" even present in the lead article? There is absolutely no mention of collective "political scandals" being "issue in recent years" in the South Korea article, both explicitly and implicitly. The only "scandal" explicitly stated in the article is the one from 2017 with President Park Geun-Hye and there is literally not a single mention of her or other former Presidents, including Lee Myung-Bak, "serving sentences." I don't know how that phrase that is not even mentioned in the main article in any way even got into the lead section, which is supposed to be "an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents" per WP:Lead.
I think the right way would be to just include the information about Park Geun-Hye being removed from office in 2017 if this is anything significant enough to be mentioned in the lead section, which I have doubts about, or just remove that entire phrase. Qwertyasdf0192363 (talk) 02:12, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Qwertyasdf0192363: You can suggest on Talk:South Korea and/or do whatever you want; I have no position on what you just discussed as the purpose of my relevant edit was to make the sentence grammatically sound ("their" was used prior because "one" is ambiguous).
