Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Halo (franchise), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Hello, I am sorry. I was not aware of these "guidelines" as I am new to this site, and thus jumped the gun, unknowingly breaking the set policies as I was writing on the page. Next time I might edit said forum, I shall strive to follow these rules. I will take the time to read the policies and guidelines. Please inform me again if I make this mistake again, also is there a ban or some form of penalty if I break these rules again? Thank you. Please get back to me on my question. - Yes, there are escalating penalties for ongoing disruption. But it's not about punishment, it's just to make sure that editors are a net contribution to building the encyclopedia. Usually when editors get warned that other people can see what they're doing, they familiarize themselves with the established policies & guidelines and go on to make good contributions. — TARDIS builder✉ • ★ 13:21, 4 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Jake Sherman (pianist), even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 20:20, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I was never and did not intend to make "Test edits" as I only tried to help fix the page by adding useful links to help understand the page itself. Yournamehere. c o m (talk) 20:27, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
Piping to unrelated articles
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Jake Sherman (pianist), you may be blocked from editing. If you make any more pointless or misleading pipes like this, you will be blocked from editing. OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:27, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
Your user page
[edit]You may want to familiarize yourself with the purpose of and how to use your user page at WP:USER. It's a bit of a steep learning curve at the beginning, but take it in small steps! — TARDIS builder✉ ★ 13:24, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
