Welcome
[edit]Hello, YoungWizard and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Dr Aaij (talk) 23:43, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Computer sciency stuff
[edit]Hey YoungWizard, have a look at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)--a page for technical questions and comments which sometimes offers you a look behind the scenes. As a computer scientist, you know there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Dr Aaij (talk) 18:51, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Book recommendation
[edit]Hi! I saw that for this class you're writing about Azande witchcraft. I thought that I'd recommend a book for you, if you're interested in African witchcraft. The book in question is Madumo, A Man Bewitched and it deals with the exorcism of a man who believes that he has been bewitched. There's a bit of a writeup of it here. I read it years ago as part of a class on religion, magic, and witchcraft. It's a little dry in places, but it was kind of interesting to see how different things can be in far away places. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 04:29, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
Shalor (Wiki Ed), thank you for the recommendation. It sounds like a really interesting read. I will definitely try to look into it soon. Thanks again! YoungWizard (talk) 21:47, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

Wikipedia editor Innisfree987 just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Thanks so much for your contribution to the encyclopedia. In terms of expanding it, the entry would benefit from expansion with additional sources, so that it represents more than a single point of view. Thanks and happy editing!
