Jafilia
[edit]Looking at the Jafilia article, the key thing that could be done for the article is to provide sources for the article that are independent and reliable. Blogs—which is where the Merchant Circle review is published—are generally not reliable. If the software's been reviewed by Wired or one of the major magazines/websites like that, that would be independent coverage.
If you can find independent coverage, please add links to it. Otherwise, I'll be nominating the article for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 23:07, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Roger that. I will try to find bigger 3rd party validation. Any way, I doubt any "wired" size magazine would review such an unimportant piece of software. I would like to point out that the the Joomla Estensions Directory or JED has strict rules of admitance and the mere fact that the component is listed there is a recognision of it's value for the Joomla community. Aditionally, the component is reviewed in the official Virtuemart newsletter and also listed on the Virtuemart Extensions Directory. The JED and the VMED are widely unknown for the general Internet user, but are very important in the "Joomla Universe". The point I try to build is that the relevance of tiny things is not possible to prove with big endorsements but with related and relatively important sources. What I am not sure about is if that principle of relativity applies at Wikipedia or is compliant with the "first pilar". --Yosu2010 (talk) 01:35, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
