Advice

As reviewing administrator, I was the spoil-sport who deleted the article. There main part of Wikipedia is the encyclopedic articles. which are supposed to be the sort of material people expect to find in an encyclopedia , not personal expressions intended for fun. It just doesn't work--it's like going to a print encyclopedia and finding it had but over-written by personal notes in colored marker. Even user space--this page, your user page, is designed to have a role in making the encyclopedia --for active editors here to say something relevant about themselves if they like on the user page, to discuss with other people

here on the user talk page.    It's not a personal blog, or facebook page, or any other sort of individualistic web site. It's not intended for self-expression, but for the business of getting a very useful work of reference written.

If you would like to help doing that, you're very welcome here, and nobody will hold this sort of beginning against you. See our page about all the useful and interesting things to do when you start out here, and then help us by improving our other articles on things you interest you, and go on to write new articles on whatever important that might interest you that we do not yet have articles about , but where there are good published sources to use in writing the article -- see our guide to that . many of us find this sort of thing greatly interesting, but there's other sorts of fun in the world as well--we individually like some of these things also, but there are other sorts of places to do them. ` DGG ( talk ) 02:21, 11 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
