Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:18, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kadokawa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:53, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

About the refs you've been adding

[edit]

Hi, I notice that you've been adding a lot of references to anime/manga articles recently, and for the most part, there is nothing wrong with it. However, when you incorporate multiple references that discuss the exact same thing, and are merely mirrors of each other in terms of the content on those websites, it is over referencing something that does not need to have so many references. You can read about this at WP:OVERCITE, and specifically on WP:OVERCITE#Reprints that you have been doing as of late by posting the same article from ANN, Crunchyroll and Fandompost to cite the same thing, like adding this and this, which are both talking about the Crunchyroll simulcast, despite this reference already being used in that article that is citing the exact same thing. Or in another case in the same article, using 4 references, [1], [2], [3], and [4] to cite the same thing, when only 1 of those references is needed since they all contain the same exact information.-- 05:41, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on List of Saki episodes. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Drmies (talk) 02:22, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • At some point you're going to have to prove to other editors and to administrators that you understand that a. this is an encyclopedia and b. we have guidelines for what count as reliable sources. See WP:RS. Right now I am very tempted to roll back all your additions, since all of them seem to be using fan sites and commercial websites as references. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Joshi Zu. Drmies (talk) 15:41, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • And here is another thing--you often add these Crunchyroll and fandomposts to things that are already referenced, suggesting that you are adding them NOT because something needs to be verified but because you want to drop those links in articles. You're not spamming for these websites, are you? Drmies (talk) 15:45, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, Drmies. Yoga Widya 1994 (talk) 21:31, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop spamming

[edit]

Stop spamming AnimeNewsNetwork.com into articles, and stop replacing perfect good existing references for no reason.[5] -- 109.79.68.156 (talk) 23:28, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm seconding this. You appear to be adding ANN sources to articles for no reason. You keep adding it to statements that are already sourced just fine. This is not acceptable. Please stop or your account will be blocked. Sergecross73 msg me 13:36, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

For continued spamming despite warnings, your account is blocked for 1 week. When it expires, find something else to do besides unnecessarily adding Anime News Network into articles. Sergecross73 msg me 15:24, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've noticed you've returned to doing this again. There's a bunch of examples like this, where you add a source to the intro. This counts as unnecessary. Please read WP:LEAD - you don't need to add a source to the intro when the content is already sourced in the article body. Which in this case, this same statement is already sourced later on in the article. I'm not blocking you this time, because more examples I found are much like this one, and its possible that you did not know of this rule, but the fact remains that you still seem more concerned about the act of adding ANN links more than you're concerned about whether or not they actually add to the article. This is not okay. Any more instances of this and you're blocked again. Sergecross73 msg me 18:08, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Apology

I'm sorry, Sergecross73. I will not adding that again.
