[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Final Fantasy, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- ferret (talk) 13:27, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
KH is not a spin-off.
[edit]Kingdom Hearts is not a Final Fantasy spin-off: they are two separate universes. Even the characters of FF present in the series are in fact modified to accommodate a new and different role in the plot, like Squall, who in KH calls himself Leon and for example in II has the purpose of reconstructing his native world, or the radiant Garden. - If you make this edit again, I'll block for disruption. Reliable secondary sources, which is how Wikipedia is built, call it a spin off, and this has been repeatedly shown in past discussion, and you've been repeatedly informed of this. -- ferret (talk) 13:05, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
I have seen some of these "sources" and I can tell you with certainty that they are not reliable at all. Here are some reasons:
1) They don't explain why they consider it a spin-off.
2) Those articles were written by anyone not different from me and you who completely misunderstood the definition of spin-offs and confused with KH only because FF characters are present in that game. In practice they were superficial.
Want to know what the real reliable sources are in this case? The word of the developer of FF or KH and the definition of spin-off. The rest counts for me little or nothing.
I also wanted to tell you dear Ferret that I never "lied". I was referring to this discussion where you had not yet answered me. So your statement and the fact that you put protection on the FF page makes no sense. It is obvious that you have misunderstood. I am simply a user open to dialogue, not a molester.

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Final Fantasy. You clearly don't understand how our sourcing guidelines work, and if you remove sources from this article again, the block is going to happen. Everyone's trying to give you a chance to educate on how Wikipedia works and you're just ignoring it and disruptively editing anyway. If you don't understand, as your edit notes clearly state, then you don't make the edit. Ask first. Stop forcing us to revert bad edits. -- ferret (talk) 18:07, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Drmies: As info. -- ferret (talk) 18:08, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
Ferret. I've already seen these laws, and as I said in my opinion, more attention should be paid. I have only tried to clarify this but I see that the problem lies at the root, so there is little to do.
As for the change in the FF page, I only modified it to ask for explanations. If I'm wrong, I apologize. But the fact is that I really didn't want to create another discussion section for that thing. However I want to let you know that in any case I would not have gone beyond those two changes. Yiucjb50 (talk) 18:44, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
