Your edits on List of oldest universities in continuous operation
[edit]Hello. I have reverted your edits since Al-Azhar University was founded as a madrasah, not a university (just like all other early Islamic institutions of higher learning). Universities are by definition corporations with a set curriculum awarding degrees to a set standard, none of which fit madrasahs. For more info about the differences between madrasahs and universities please see Talk:List of oldest universities in continuous operation. Cheers. Thomas.W talk 08:46, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
