I knew Hansa as in (Paramahansa = "Supreme Swan") but thought according to Muktananda's book "I am That" a treatise on the "So-Ham" mantra, Which features a swan on its cover that the words were interchangeable in Sanskrit. Many websites use the terms interchangeably. However, my main concern with the edit was to make sure the word was translated to "swan" as it previously read "goose" (and featured a link to the wikipedia goose page) yendorcire.
