Your warning for disruptive editing on Hellraiser (2022 film)
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Hellraiser (2022 film), you may be blocked from editing. Edwordo13 (talk) 18:42, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
What is disruptive is when someone fails to meet in the middle. Most of the world hears Pinhead and instantly knows where that is from. The average person is not going to know who the priest is or what that is from. If you do a google search for the movie and hit cast, it even says Pinhead under Jamie Clayton’s name. I do not think it is unreasonable to include this. Yeloc1110 (talk) 21:58, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
- Listen... "the Priest" is the credited name for the character in the 2022 film, NOT Pinhead. The addition of unsourced information will just get reverted anyway, regardless of what you do. Please see W:NOR for more information.
- There is absolutely no evidence in the film that Pinhead was referred to as said name, as "the Priest" is what the character is called. If you cannot agree with that, go watch the film for yourself.
- And please, do NOT keep adding your own unsourced information that would get reverted anyway, as that will cause an edit war, which, you had already caused. Edit warring can lead to your account getting blocked or even in worse cases, banned from editing in the article or Wikipedia entirely. Edwordo13 (talk) 14:24, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
I am fully aware and have seen the movie plenty of times. My intention is to call out that the priest is referred to colloquially as Pinhead. That was is it, hence the aka. At this point, I give up even after explaining my logic the first time. Congratulations sir, enjoy your day. Yeloc1110 (talk) 17:12, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
