Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.Sincerely, —Skyllfully (talk | contribs) 03:50, 7 November 2015 (UTC) (Leave me a message)

Edit summaries
[edit]Please don't use misleading edit summaries like "fixed typo" when that's not what you did. Removing an associated act from a list of bands is certainly not fixing a typo, nor is it a minor edit. --Spike Wilbury (talk) 14:09, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
No idea how to get to anyones talk page. You seem nice, but everyone else that has messaged me on wiki has been really mean. I am used to facebook so I don't know how to use it. YeahResident (talk) 15:43, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
Metallica
[edit]Hello, I'm Mlpearc. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Metallica, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Mlpearc (open channel) 14:28, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
April 2018
[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of controversial album art, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Robvanvee 05:38, 17 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Guns N' Roses, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for January 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
Do they only want certain promotions. The biggest Michigan indy wrestling promotions are XICW, Horror Slam, RPW, then Pro Wrestling All-Stars of Detroit, CLASH Wrestling, and Metro Pro Wrestling. There are about 10 others as well. But I don't know how they want them added or maybe they don't want them on there. YeahResident (talk) 22:04, 9 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Guns N' Roses, you may be blocked from editing. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:08, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
Categories
[edit]Hello. Regarding this edit of yours [1], I noticed you attempted to add an item directly to a category page.
In Wikipedia, we do not add articles to a category by editing the category page, we add them by editing the individual articles' pages and linking the category from there. Please see Wikipedia:FAQ/Categorization#How do I add an article to a category? For newer editors, it's understandably a counter-intuitive system.
Category pages are not intended to be exhaustive lists. In fact, they are not really lists at all, in the sense they only display subjects with Wikipedia pages. They are navigation aids; merely groupings of related, existing English Wikipedia pages.
To categorize a page, first make sure the page actually belongs to the category. Then, go to the page you wish to categorize and add the category at the bottom of the page with the other categories. For instructions on how to do this using VisualEditor, see Help:VisualEditor § Editing categories.
For further detailed information, see Help:Category and Wikipedia:Categorization. Let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions. Cheers! --DB1729talk 17:02, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
Jasmin St. Claire
[edit]Hi. Please do not add uncited material to articles, as you did with this edit to Jasmin St. Claire, as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. I know you don't edit here that often, but you've accumulated about 170 edits here since 2015, and you've been warned on least two prior occassions on this talk page about this.
Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks.
