Karnataka resignation crisis
[edit]Hello; I noticed that you altered the number of seats in in Karnataka Legislative Assembly; I don’t think that we should change the numbers until the resignations are accepted by the speaker or some other constitutional authority, for reasons I explained on the talk page, so I have reverted this edit. I may well be wrong or overly cautious, but if I am it would be best to explain why there.

Recent edit reversion
[edit]In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:25, 6 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. - wolf 20:59, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

User - Soumyadeep176 is repeatedly editing this page - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_Indian_states_and_union_territories_by_GDP&action=history with wrong info (The GSDP of West Bengal is 13.54 lakh crore, he is reverting it to imaginary 16.5). How do I stop this?

Regarding "List of Indian states and union territories by GDP" and "List of Indian states and union territories by GDP per capita"
[edit]I have added 2019-20 info from RBI website, which is the most recent confirmed and consistent info from RBI website. If you look at its sources you will find data for subsequent years incomplete for many states. And this is the latest 'Handbook of Statistics on Indian States 2020-21' which means that newer better quality data doesn't exist. 16AdityaG09 (talk) 11:15, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Venkat TL (talk) 10:02, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dhruv edits (talk) 05:06, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dhruv edits (talk) 05:07, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

Discretionary Sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Incoherent text
[edit]Please stop edit warring at 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election, and at least stop following the (sourced) sentence "Unemployment has been steadily increasing in the state" with the sentence "According to PLFS bulletin, unemployment has been steadily decreasing in the state". What is a reader to make of such incoherent text? Please consider the quality of the articles you edit. Bishonen | tålk 12:06, 4 November 2022 (UTC).
