[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Matthew Granahan has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op1c2p-bofo, http://www.youtube.com/index?ytsession=TkTZpz8bHhVTcQt5qkk8hjG5l45qjY45PTvwEZcgU5nU6pIfA2gpypyiOjE9njVbc38JRgKKy9ZmUMoQJMSskjvb7aW_B1mv7YjvqS27ZPOOc_tlWwvnXiDA6OQgAupXgZjpdzAT80u04ElPjrcBlvQ2odq_PWd3eR1m8ZgEgV_28eaEixwhN5xcQK_nApmn93WVI0HyTib2-Ze4mRNK9d2_i_Yq2iG33YblvcPcve4-FGW_x54YYoK5_rSrsyhsCpWfhYL2UcoNYNTosZCAY6iqShCr-z7wJL2FsE84wcwD1DZeeJdREsoTqgTF5JzeiapG2t-R1c_GR5AaGW_K_1idlZ-zKH5l1n8G8RufPOkC8DeYl_V42PO1CfasygmELpZdN1iHtep91B_ZR0HzCJIj6ZMYRcn-k9YBbXTQVeof7UU89OnWA2NHArw07xkf (redirect from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op1c2p-bofo), http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61-gfxjtyv0, http://www.youtube.com/index?ytsession=uoDZpTGikiFUjcQLIYF2TnQFlk5_U1jpPphsYZfpJ_hnXcPLUtYI4Y_ITgOXn5J7T-vLqi4fU2GnL57zFbKiy6--aepyUSXDynPuUVU2QEX35rY7GqoMcy6bLi8ISBP6CE3tnPH7gqN9Aj1Ir3l44z50FLsShQGZ6zOcepP72lF4jhDAJRABYnOcUfb22V8URW6c01SPk2YuSTh4iGWYzx7jZ5e4hZ1aNubXpwHkC3mnZS1uIm0GFyjCArbrzLGAVpjHT_hA5DKOyzBTmRhMWAsRXoUs0kQTAJK4P9_SJOJKHUuRCRaYGD7omhXfJu50pu2ICCiH8vNsJv6dbeuP9pylvYvbM2f32IR0e8KctfrcKUDCm9HgXzTbetjc5nM9qUJdjZGB9kkDb0BsqOkMaP06ai6Ako-X7Rth3bJWHCrBo_3gj_PiCNWYM9zHWSJ5 (redirect from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61-gfxjtyv0)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Re: Matthew Granahan
[edit]The criteria for inclusion on Wikipedia is not being popular among friends (or any group of people) but having received "significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject" (see wikipedia:Notability (people)). Your best bet for changing people's minds is probably to try to show that such coverage exists. Cheers, --aktsu (t / c) 09:09, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- And while we're on the topic: placing verbose and strangely placed (twice you stuck it in the middle of some other conversation) rants on other users' talk pages is also not the way to go. Drmies (talk) 15:38, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Listen here dudes. I'm not some computer nerd and I'm not versed in the special language you dudes use. My name is Michael Consolati. I'm a pro wrestler and have been for the last 15 years. The guy you're trying to remove is not a friend of mine but I have wrestled on a couple of cards with him. What you don't get and the reason people are writing you is because you don't understand who Granimal is or how impactful what he's doing is. The ACA is the ONLY organization in America of it's kind. He's bringing REAL WRESTLING NOT STAGED BUT REAL CATCH AS CATCH CAN WRESTLING BACK TO AMERICA IN AN ENTERTAINING WAY. Reliable sources? Is Gene Lebell, the Godfather of Grappling, not a reliable source? http://www.genelebell.com/links.html Is Erik Paulson, trainer to Brock Lesnar, Josh Barnett, Renato Sobral and Sean Sherk and the first American to win the World Shooto championship not a reliable source? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_Paulson They're writing a book together on REAL wrestling not the kind you see on WWE dudes. Is Kamal Shalorus, Iranian Olympian, World Abu Dhabi champion beat Joakim Hansen and Saulo Ribiero and is undefeated in the cage, not a reliable source? He's doing techniques with Granimal on ACA website and they're producing a DVD together. Maybe Frankie Cain and Billy Wicks, two of the last living carnival wrestlers, aren't reliable sources? I don't think so. I'm gonna do a quick test for you and type in Matthew Granahan and wrestling and Yahoo and show you how many reliable sources come up: http://www.prowrestlingdigest.com/2009/04/14/american-combat-association-417-showdown-in-the-sunshine-state/ http://www.wrestlingnewsarena.com/2009/04/press-release-showdown-in-the-sunshine-state/ http://www.rallyclips.com/video-theme/wwe%20wrestler.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch_wrestling
I could fill 3 pages with links dude. You and your other online fact checkers are completely missing the point The American Combat Association is not only a viable organization it's a one of a kind organization. NO ONE ELSE IS PUTTING ON CATCH WRESTLING AND BOXING COMBO SHOWS! Don't you people get that? They're resurrecting a period of American History. If you consult with anyone who is non-biased in the industry you will understand. The problem is Wikipedia is filled with people who don't get our business and don't even know what American Submission Wrestling is. Of all the articles to go after on Wikipedia you have chosen the wrong one!

Speedy deletion of American combat association
[edit]A tag has been placed on American combat association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ironholds (talk) 02:33, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of American combat association
[edit]A tag has been placed on American combat association, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
