Speedy deletion nomination of Alfred Frankenthaler
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Alfred Frankenthaler requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Lhasa de Sela, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Vrenator talk 12:53, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Lhasa de Sela. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Donald Albury 13:01, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Katonga River
[edit]I have reverted your edit to Lake Victoria because Wikipedia articles are not acceptable as sources in other Wikipedia articles. The direction of flow of the Katonga River is unclear, with some sources stating that the western part of the river flows to the west, but that the eastern part of the river flows to the east into Lake Victoria. -- Donald Albury 13:28, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Lhasa de Sela, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 14:46, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Adrian Kivumbi Ddungu. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:17, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 16:02, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Copyright violation material removed
[edit]Your addition to User:Yanclae has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. -- Donald Albury 00:26, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 28
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Samson Occom, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Episcopalian and John Eliot (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
