Your edits to Toma Ikuta

[edit]

I understand your eagerness to contribute. I really do. But please, read and use edit summaries, as they help other editors to understand why you made the changes you did.

Also, I noticed that you restored large amounts of trivia to the article. Trivia is good, sometimes, but large amounts of it are difficult to read and it is very unencyclopedic, so it shouldn't take up THAT much of the article, especially if we want the article to become as great as some of the other articles on Wikipedia. Please take this into consideration before restoring it all, especially since so little of it is really noteworthy and/or neutral at all.

Lastly, the images you've uploaded are good images of Toma, but they need to have full, appropriate tags, source information, and fair use rationale. That's why I keep removing those, as well.

Just a heads up, I know it's frustrating to be reverted, but again, edit summaries are there to explain why we do what we do, to avoid this kind of blind misunderstanding. Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you continuing to improve your editing style, and the articles you edit. ^^ Nique talk 03:46, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Western name guidelines (Re: Toma Ikuta edits)

[edit]

As per WP:MOS-JA, unless the person is particularly famous in the Western world under their original (family-given) name order or a pen name, article titles must be in Western (given-family) name order, as well as mentions of that name in the article body, excepting when romanizing the kanji of their name. Please don't change the name order again, for this reason. Thanks! Nique talk 15:53, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Akihabara box.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Akihabara box.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:58, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Oku Manami, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://wiki.theppn.org/Oku_Manami. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
