You should have contacted me on my talk page. I didn't know you had a concern about POV. I knew the article was somewhat biased against Alcoa (that's how I think of the company), but it just seemed the coverage I was reading was anti-Alcoa. And yet you stated the majority of newspaers were favoring Alcoa. In that case, I don't know how I could have missed all the positive coverage that I could have included.
The Stanly News and Press has been where I've gotten a lot of my information (though nothing that I included in the article, apparently). They're overwhelmingly anti-Alcoa though they print plenty of pro-Alcoa letters such as the one from a former employee who goes to my church.
I started out as an Alcoa supporter, but I have to admit if they can't stay in the community, we shouldn't really trust them, in my opinion. Were the aluminum operation to resume, I'm sure there would be lots more positive feelings Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 18:55, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, and you seem to have made a lot of improvements to the article other than in the controversial section. Looks good. I feel bad that so little of what I put there survived, but the important thing is it looks good now.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:02, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
