Density
[edit]I put the formal definition section of the density page back in. The scales on the axes are what make it dimensionally correct. It looks weird, but I derived it both with the chain rule and also by writing an elemental volume and I tested it against a few different mass functions, it seems to work. I've fixed it up a bit so that it's easier to read, and I took out the time dependent bit because I admit it makes it more confusing, and I really can't explain what dV/dt is (comes from the chain rule, but if I can't make sense of it I shouldn't have put it in). I think it's necessary to have this information because I kind of needed that relation for project, couldn't find it, derived it myself, and whenever I do that I edit wikipedia. The problem is that the usual m/V doesn't say anything about nonhomogeneous matter, so the more generic definition (dm/dV) is important.
I'll check this talk page in case there's any trouble...
(day later, sorry didn't sign) You know what? It's not working. The mass functions I used to test it were flawed and happened to give the right density. I've removed it myself until fixed. Sorry for being a smartass. -Ben pcc 16:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
