Thank you for your warm welcome. I saw that you were part of a project called trains in Japan. It certainly looks interesting so I might consider joining. I can't translate yet (the content translation feature, which I feel to be a necessity for its save function, permits only those with more than 500 edits to translate into English sadly), but if there's something I could help clarifying, please ask. --YTRK (talk) 11:04, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to join any wikiproject that interests you. Also, 500 edits might seem like a lot (it kinda is), but you'll reach it eventually. Happy editing, Nyamo Kurosawa (huh?) 22:22, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

templates

[edit]

Hi YTRK, Could you please go through your edits and put "{{Use dmy dates|date=January 2017}}{{Use British English|date=January 2017}} on new lines please as this is the common format for all templates - They're always underneath one another not next to them,
Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 13:27, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I had no idea there was a guideline for that. Thank you for letting me know. I think the one you've fixed and Wilmslow Road bus corridor are the only ones I'd done that today. --YTRK (talk) 13:41, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hey YTRK, No worries and you're welcome :), Happy editing :), Many thanks, Kind Regards, –Davey2010Talk 13:54, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

March equinox

[edit]

I have added a new option to March equinox: The worldwide vernal equinox or equinox defined as the ascending node of the ecliptic on the celestial equator, with a reference. — Joe Kress (talk) 21:40, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided a better article for vernal equinox is Equinox because it already defines these celestial coordinate systems. — Joe Kress (talk) 22:01, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. I'll go over yesterday's edits and fix them.--YTRK (talk) 12:09, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Goguryeo–Tang War, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chaoyang (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:13, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What, exactly, was disruptive or constituted vandalism about the edit?
The idea that someone who disagrees with you is a vandal is wrong. I recommend that you read WP:VANDAL and relearn the definition for vandalism.
For your information, my edit is based on the belief that why the plant is worth noting in the article lead should be explained there.--YTRK (talk) 11:51, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about my misunderstanding your action on Port Talbot. Posted in error. Now removed with my sincere apology. All is now well. Happy editing! Gareth Griffith-Jones (contribs) (talk) 15:48, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Pi3.124: Thank you very much for the confirmation. I think I'll add a note in the article to stop it happening again.--YTRK (talk) 13:07, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Leo the Great (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Geolocation by IP address

[edit]

Hi, re this post. In the UK, Geolocation by IP address is by no means accurate. The Geolocation of my own IP address moves around alarmingly, even though I remain reasonably static (at the moment, according to www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup, I am in London; but in truth, I've not edited from London for about two years). I noted this discrepancy some years ago, at User:Redrose64#Where am I?. So the two people with IPs apparently 150 km apart may actually live next door to one another - or may really be 1000 km apart. We just don't know. All we can really tell from two different IPs is that they are in the same country. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 20:13, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for commenting. Actually I think it was through reading your user page a while ago that I learnt about this. Although annoying in this kind of case, I feel somewhat reassured to know that our privacy is protected through this inaccuracy.--YTRK (talk) 11:35, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
