[edit]Hello Xxcchun. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Wei Han, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Xxcchun. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Xxcchun|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. bonadea contributions talk 08:54, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Hello there, I am not a paid advocates. I found Wei Han's profile in Chinese website and would like to translate in English and upload on wiki. Please let me know what I should do to upload successfully. Xxcchun (talk) 09:06, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I don't understand how you could independently create the exact same text as an employee of Wei Han created only a few days ago. Is this a copy of some text that has been published elsewhere? In any case, it has been determined in two separate community discussions that Wei Han is not notable according to Wikipedia's definition. There is some information about her in the article about Bliss Media, and it does not appear that she is notable independent of her company. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 11:30, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
I found this paragraph on their company intro. And Wei Han as CEO of Bliss Media, a lot of people google her name. As a film producer, she made films including Hacksaw Ridge, Jackie which are all won many international awards. Like BlackBear CEO, Teddy Schwarzman has his own page. So I think Wei is able to have her own page too. Xxcchun (talk) 04:50, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
