Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in List of Computer System Manufacturers. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Pak21 10:10, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
xVx
[edit]In which ways are you claiming that xVx are notable? The brief search I did revealed basically zero reliable sources referring to xVx. Given your username, can I also suggest that you familiarise yourself with the conflict of interest guideline before making any more edits. --Pak21 11:59, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- The primary criterion for notability is that "It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the company, corporation, organization, or group, or of the product's or service's manufacturer or vendor, itself, and reliable." (my emphasis). So far, the only independent source I have seen is one Computer Shopper review. What more than that is there? In any case, establishing this level of notability certainly doesn't put xVx in the same breath as Dell and Hewlett-Packard. --Pak21 08:10, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
