[edit]You just violated WP:3RR. Self-revert (i.e. restore back) your latest edit to Bill Ayers presidential election controversy, and do not make any further reverssions to that article in a 24 hour period, or you will likely be blocked from editing the encyclopedia to avoid disruption.Wikidemon (talk) 00:23, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- As a courtesy notice, I have filed a 3RR report on your edits, here. Wikidemon (talk) 01:07, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- Note - based on your statement that you stopped edit warring after my notice,[1] and your using the talk page to talk about the proposal,[2] I left a further note at the 3RR report that I do not think a block is in order.[3] You probably should review and keep an eye out for edit warring and 3RR issues so that you don't start off on the wrong foot here. If you work with other editors they will listen to you even when they don't agree, but when people just revert each other's edits it makes a mess and then people get their accounts blocked. [edit]I'm sorry, but you seem quite unclear on what 'encyclopedic' means, which are reliable sources and which are not, and the importance of doing research before editing an article. You seem to think that if you can find a few sources that you think reinforce what you already believe, even though it's incorrect, you can ignore all previous discussions and consensus and post some non-factual, misleading, incorrect, speculative material based purely on personal opinion. Since you're new, I suggest you work on a non-controversial article until you figure all this out. Flatterworld (talk) 02:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
