This is an explanation for the reversion of your edit.
The article refers to Renaissance architecure, Classical architecture, Baroque architecture, Mannerist architecture etc. They all have capitals because they are the name of styles. It is the same with Medieval architecture. It is also the name of a style and requires a capital.

I agree that this user deserved to be blocked, but only warnings to the user should be placed on the user's talk page. Requests for the user to be blocked should be posted at WP:AIV.
