Thanks for your advice my most recent edit. However, everything I said was true. I invite you to look at her history , or even better yet, try to create a new article & see how fast she nominates it for deletion. She is just one the many Wikipedia editors who are more interested in having thier signature or deletion nomination on thousands of articles instead of improving one. Am I bitter? You betcha!--138.162.0.45 15:31, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whether or not your statments have merit, your modification of a userpage is malicious and doesn't serve to further your point, hence my reversion.Xnuala 02:34, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Look This Is Our Viewpoint

[edit]

We don't see global warming as a major problem. It is a hoax and we do think that Wikipedia is pushing the limits on government censorship especially on articles pertaining on global warming. We think in order to comply with federal standards, anything that is on global warming should be edited and reviewed. We feel that some articles on global warming should not say stuff that is quite damaging to the American population. This a friendly notice from the federal government. 72.69.213.21, February 2, 2006 1:56 (UTC)

See, I don't live under your jurisdiction, and I believe your claims of being a representative of your federal government are spurious at best. The appropriate place to air your concerns would be the article's Talk page. Hope to see you there!! --Xnuala 11:33, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment on Robert Saxon Page

[edit]

Hi Xnuala

Thankyou for your input. I made a mistake perhaps.

I wonder if you might help me though. I have tried asking the fellow who keeps tagging the page I have tried to put together but he has no page like you or the other moderator I have been discussing this with. It all seems to be very malicious and he's revellng in a power I do not have.

It's true I am working on a minor artist in British Theatre, but there are many such in the British performance entries. As an English Teacher I would hardly describe my work as biased or a fansite. I am hoping to attract more people who know of this man to add to the knowledge myself and some of my former students have. However, over the last few days this character seems to have it in for the page and is escalating his tags to ridiculous proportions. I'm not saying I'm above criticism, but it's tough to take when the person who has power to do these things will not speak to me privately about what is to be done.

The first moderator who helped me to format the article properly had this to say

Hi jeri, I cannot really see too much to criticise about your article. Yours is about as Wikified as some older articles about actors eg. Dudley Moore. Some good article for comparison are Brigitte Bardot and Tom Hanks. In order of priority I would suggest:

It would benefit from sub-headings. Reasons: Automatically creates a table of contents Organises the text more logically Casual readers can quickly find what they are looking for without having to read the entire article. Cite references. Without references your article will not meet the minimum standard. Create lists of works Just doing these will improve your article immensely.

Good work so far, you're doing very well for someone new to writing encyclopedic entries. It is very different to any other form of writing, and takes some getting used to.

From this I took it that I was on the right track. I am trying to find a CV of my subject to detail more the productions and perfrmances he has been involved in, discover more biographical info and so on, and it has been my hope that others might come to the page and chip in also, which has happened once with someone uploading a picture I did not have. However, British regional theatre is not reported on or archived in the same way as West End. I was under the impression that this was about knowledge, not fame. I have suggested to LittleOldMe that I might scan some material from programmes I have or photograph a couple of the posters I have but I am unsure about this for copyright reasons and await his response.

All this is most unsettling and I'm not at all happy. I'd appreciate it if you could offer me some balanced avice, help me to organise what I'm doing and perhaps advise me as to how to get this vindictive chap to leave me alone. Looking at the way this chap has gone about his business I am amazed he is being allowed such control. Where you and LittleOldMe have been polite and helpful, guiding me through very unfamiliar territory, he has been nothing short of fascistic purely it seems because he is unaware of my subject of interest and for some reason it offends him. If we took that opinion into account from everyone, encyclopaedias would cease to exist and ignorance would rule. It's impossible to work in a relaxed atmosphere and build something worthwhile when someone is stomping across the effort with the web equivallent of jackboots.

Please help if you can.

If you respond doing so to my email address (JerichoHayes@aol.com) would be greatly appreciated.

Vandalism

[edit]

Meh, really no big deal. Different people have different approaches to these things. It's just that that particular guy had done three whacks of pretty darn serious vandalism, not just the usual "Oh? I can edit this page? Really? Julie's in bed with Mike!" type. So I thought test4im - which I only rarely give out - might be a bit better. But no big deal. Cheers, Moreschi Deletion! 19:39, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I only saw the G.I. Joe vandalism. I suppose I should be more diligent in looking at edit histories. Thanks!! --Xnuala 19:41, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NOT cool. Someone vandalizes the Black Label Society page beyond recognition, I leave a warning on the user's page, and I get blamed for vandalism? How hypocritical is that?

Thanks for the help

Just stopping by to thank you for reverting my userpage earlier. Take care and keep up the good work! --Ann Stouter 02:55, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to second those thanks for your reversion on vandalism to my userpage. Happy editing, Fvasconcellos 14:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing spelling at Santulum album. If you know something about the sp., the art needs expanding. Or if spelling is your thing, I got a lot of results when I accidently searched on goverment. BTW I got a good giggle from your 'warning' from the 'Federal government'. Regards - Fred 03:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. All my edits get automatically added to my watchlist. Those at user talk pages are kept for a little while in case they reply there. So I noticed your vandal.
If you get vandalised, try to seek the assistance of another editor. The reason for this was explained to me (recently) and they were right. Ask me if you want to know more. Anon IP vandals are probably best reverted and ignored, though. It is attention seeking behaviour more often than not. regards - Fred 10:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of The Most Extreme Episodes

[edit]

I have blanked that List of The Most Extreme Episodes for the episodes are already on The Most Extreme so I did not find a reason to write another article about the episodes if the episodes are on the main article. Radical3 02:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any time!

No problem, that guy was a bozo. He is blocked now though, so it's all good. Cheers! Wikipediarules2221 02:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
