reference

[edit]

Hello Xleax, I noticed your addition of a date of birth for Marianne Williamson. Do you have a reference for that? Thanks. Ste4k 19:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm not sure where to reply to you since I haven't done it before. My references are http://www.adze.com/Celebrities/MarianneWilliamson.htm

http://www.earthstarconsulting.com/aboutHDSarticle44.htm

kind of odd articles but they have the same date. Do i need to add a reference to a date of birth and place of birth?

Reply here is fine, and I did get your e-mail, Thanks! :) I'll go ahead and put them into the article. If you'd like to see how the templates are used, you can read about them at: WP:CTT. Thanks again. Ste4k 21:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

suggestion

[edit]

Hi Xleax, you might want to make a userpage for yourself. Just click on the red "User Page" link. It doesn't have to say much, but, if you do, then your name will no longer be red-colored (eeeek!) :) You can read about User pages at WP:USER. Hope this helps. Ste4k 21:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right, I shall start with a full stop :) Thanks for all the help man, I really appreciate it. Xleax 22:43, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again.

[edit]

Hi Xleax, About the reason that you cut out the statement in Marianne Williamson.. It doesn't matter if it seems POV to you, what matters is that we quote source that made the statement. If you go down into the references section for that statement and click on the URL, you will read the words for yourself. Please understand that I am not saying that you are wrong, but I am saying that according to policy we need to follow the guidelines. Another good thing to make sure is that if disagree with an existing article that you ask questions about it in the Discussion area of the article before making any changes to find out more about it. Hope this helps, and also, I have a gift for you:

Hello Xleax, and welcome to Wikipedia! Here are some recommended guidelines to help you get involved. Please feel free to contact me if you need help with anything. Best of luck and happy editing! Ste4k 08:30, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any questions, please visit us at the WikiProject on Ice Hockey's talk page. Krm500 19:58, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't aware of the policy. Thank you. Xleax 21:07, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infrastructure factual statement

[edit]

I guess it has to be stated in a style that reads like an encuyclop... I've run into this in the past that common knowledge needs to be stated in a manner that makes it undistinbguishedChivista 20:36, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Aleš Šmon

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aleš Šmon, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article is unsourced and contains no assertion of notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. The article Kimberly Prendez has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

notability is not indicated; speedy delete might be appropriate as not even a claim of notability is made; IMdB entry indcates that she does NOT meet WP:N
