Mount Rainier

[edit]

Hi there, I only spent a day there this past summer, far too little time. I didn't ski, but I did hike a little. There is a visitor center called Hurricane Ridge, that has nice views of mountain meadows. Elsewhere in the park is the main visitor center (I think it was called Paradise) that had a number of trailheads. By the time I got there, the clouds and fog had come in, so I couldn't actually see the mountain peak. --Kyoko 13:43, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't delete it, I put a speedy deletion tag on it, and I even replied on the talk page about it. And then someone who can delete pages came along and decided to delete it. I maintain that it clearly didn't pass WP:WEB. --Lijnema 16:40, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Astronomy

[edit]

Yes, I am an amateur astronomer, I have an old C-14 SCT which is fun to use. I did manage to see the southern cross, Omega Centauri, and the Jewel Box while I was visiting Hawaii last summer. WilliamKF 18:18, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is this for? Entries? Fredil 02:44, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Just wondering.... How does the sun keep going?

I am pretty sure no-one will be able to answer this, but please give it a go!

Thanks.

my talk page

[edit]

Xizes, I'm glad you like my talk page, and I'm glad you are using the template for your own (although I'm not the original designer). However, I'd have to ask that you don't archive my page for me. I'll archive it myself as I see fit. Thanks. SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 23:48, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I asked you once not to archive my talk page. Now you go and delete code and the archives list on my talk page? Here's a clear statement: Stay off my talk page: do not edit it at all. If you continue to disrupt it, this will all go on AN/I. SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 07:26, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's OK

I'm already back under a new username. Railsmart revealed his true name, and then regretted it.--Railsmart 15:07, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one week for vandalizing Wikipedia. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Keep in mind that if you continue to disrupt Wikipedia after your block expires, you may be reblocked without warning. Coredesat 07:26, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
'bout time, if you look at his contribs. on de: i'd have blocked him forever weeks ago. -- 11:52, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Blue moon

[edit]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Blue moon. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -WarthogDemon 05:02, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Harvest moon

[edit]

NPA Warning

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 05:11, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Talk page comments such as above are not a good idea as they take up enormous amounts of space and say very little but do so in a manner that is likely to irritate the receiver. Please consider moderating your Talk page comments to constructive criticism with a neutral tone. (aeropagitica) 06:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. Repeated edits like this on multiple users' talk pages will result in blocks. You were warned repeatedly, and I see from your block log you've already been blocked for this in early December. Firsfron of Ronchester 06:51, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That person above blocked Xizes for... ONE MONTH?! Can't believe it. AstroBoy 04:09, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Man, I'm gonna beat the hell out of User:Firsfron like... now. D DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW THE TIME.

Whatever the merits of your original block, threatening the blocking admin is likely to earn you a longer block instead of leniency. Please stop. You can use {{unblock}} to request to be unblocked.--Kchase T 04:34, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am manually adding you to Category:Requests for unblock, as that seems to have been your intention in using the unblock tag (I'm not sure what happened that you're not in the cat; but whatever). The reviewing admin should take care of the removal and hopefully notice that you placed the unblock notice at the top of the page, instead of the bottom. Regards.--Kchase T 05:27, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Xizes!

[edit]

Seriously, come to Onekopakaspace Wiki. You can be a sysop..... Plus, you don't really live in Renton. You're not inside the city limits!! And besides, the one thing that people in your area voted on, Fairwood becoming a town, I don't think it passed. I'm wathching you, Onekopaka 01:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TI-BASIC

[edit]

Hello-- Please don't continue to re-add all of that code on the TI-BASIC article. Wikipedia is not an instruction manual. Please see the discussion on the talk page for my comments concerning this. Thanks!

Allynfolksjr 07:56, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply, but I must disagree. The example code there is more than reasonable to show the basic syntax of the language and differences between z80 and 68k BASIC. I realize you might have spent time personally coming up with the code, and there are sites online for you to share your work, such as ticalc.org.

Allynfolksjr 06:10, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fully agree with Allynfolksjr. Not only are these examples totally unnecessary bloat in the article, but your persistent attempts to re-add them over repeated requests not to is hardly becoming of someone who'd "like to be (a wikipedia administrator)". When an edit is controversial, you're supposed to talk about it on the talk page instead of repeatedly bludgeoning it into the history - I'm sure you should know this by now. — flamingspinach | (talk) 04:48, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

please stop threatening other users. -- 15:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
