About your user page
[edit]You were missing a "</span" in your code, which is what kept it from working. Normally it's best to not edit other people's user pages (unless they give you permission) but I figured since I already had the edit window open and you would have wanted the code to work... In response to your message
[edit]You can respond to this message by looking for the small blue button that says "edit" to the right of the section title.
Normally I would ping you on my talk page and respond there (to keep everything in one place) but I figure it's more important that you be able to keep track of this message than for me to be unnecessarily organized.
I've written a guide, linked here that explains a number of matters new users face. The Wikipedia Adventure is a tutorial that gives you some practice on a number of basics.
You can go to Wikipedia:Teahouse and click the "New section" button to leave a message (as you did on my user talk page). Ian.thomson (talk) 04:58, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- You can indent your comment (good idea when responding to someone) by putting one or more :s at the beginning of the line. More on that covered in my guide. Ian.thomson (talk) 04:58, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you! :)
