How are they NOT SUITABLE when I've seen other artist with less verifiable references with wiki pages? I am a verified artist under a major label. Do your research
- Hi. For an article to be accepted it MUST satisfy WP:MUSICBIO. Also, any claim that satisfies WP:MUSICBIO MUST be referenced with reliable sources that unambiguously verify the claim. If you have found articles with 'less verifiable references', you are welcome to nominate it for deletion. Please see WP:PROD, WP:AFD and WP:CSD for instructions on how to do this. Further resubmissions of the article without first satisfying WP:MUSICBIO will be considered as disruptive, and you may be blocked from editing. Thank you David.moreno72 02:50, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
What about this artical in the local Utah paper? https://www.cityweekly.net/BuzzBlog/archives/2018/07/23/music-monday-7-23
And sorry if im making you mad lol
- What about it? It is a brief mention (just a single paragraph), and so does not satisfy WP:GNG, which requires significant coverage. So which criteria in WP:MUSICBIO do you think it satisfies, if any? State your reasoning. Thank you. David.moreno72 03:29, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
lol sorry man! More mentions will come soon. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexvalle108 (talk • contribs) 03:41, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Hey I resubmitted and added a music review blog.
Your submission at Articles for creation: XavierTheRapper (September 12)
[edit]I'm not sure why this was rejected again. Xavier is a signed artist under a major label and is currently on tour in Europe. We made this page for his fans to look more into his past once he's left their city. If you look though the reference links you'll see tour dates etc. Xavier was also mentioned on Billboard, SlugMag and Complex News/Media. Before I submitted the last article I browsed over other artist in his range with way less notifiable features and and noticed they have Wikipedia pages. This is very unfortunate, I've written articles for way less notable people then Xavier with no trouble. Seems like this young African American artist from Utah still can't catch a break even if his life depended on it. Thanks anyways, Morris Plaza - Artist Manager

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at Draft:XavierTheRapper. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 06:15, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Xavier does not do interviews so his bio can't be written by anyone else outside of his management team
Declare any connection
[edit]Hello Xaviertherapper. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Draft:XavierTheRapper, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Xaviertherapper. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Xaviertherapper|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. --Worldbruce (talk) 06:54, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick response. I'm not a paid contributor nor am I employed by any institution. Speaking freely i'm not even a writer, my role is artist manager for XavierTheRapper and 3 other musicians out of Utah. I've written bio's for other artist on my phone for their pages but the pages were constructed by other management not me. Sorry if i confused you. What I was trying to say is that I've seen way less notable people (then Xavier) with little to no fame and little to 1 reference with wiki pages. By doing a quick Google search you'll see his verified accounts. Xavier has declined all media interviews, shows and events due to battle with depression. That is the reason you don't see heavy media coverage but some coverage do exist. Its unlikely you'll see more media coverage due to Xavier asking to remain hidden from all media outlets. Xavier has a charting song called Won't Change which is about depression, this is how I got in contact with the artist. If Xavier is not on tour he is secretly hidden in the deep mountains of Utah. The last time Xavier stepped into the media spotlight he nearly took his own life because he simply can't handle being judged. This page will shed some light on his life and serve as his only bio. This is the 1st time I've constructed a page from scratch meaning editing and inputting info.
Hello I would like to what info would i need to provide to have this page approved
- Hello, for this page to be approved it would need to meet the criteria as set out in WP:MUSICBIO. We would also require a significant amount of reliable sources to back up claims about the artist as set out in WP:BLP. On a more personal note I don't believe the artist that you represent is quite notable enough to have a Wikipedia article as of yet. I am struggling to find many mentions of him online including his "Charting" song which i can't find in any charts. However I have noticed that he does have a Spotify page with 5,352 listeners worldwide. This is definitely a start to showing reviews who will review your article that it is a real artist with real music. Follow some of the links that others have linked to above to see what you can do to improve the article. I hope this helped! Bailo26 20:22, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
Okay sounds good
Negative info
[edit]Hi, please don't post negative info about living people on wikipedia unless you can link to wherever that came from. And that source needs to be a site such the NYT or the BBC, not a site that allows anonymous comments. I've deleted your draft, but it can be restored by any admin if you find sources for the negative information. Thanks ϢereSpielChequers 22:57, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
What negative info?
[edit]Can you explain ? What are you talking about Alexvallemedia (talk) 23:02, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
