{{GLOCK pistols}}
A useful box to have created, but I have a stylistic comment. There's no technical distinction between the "1 series", "2 series" or "3 series". They're just a sequence of numbers for the models. I would change the box to delete that differentiation. If you want to have them on separate lines to keep the box structure, doing so without a series tag would be fine. Georgewilliamherbert 03:27, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Saw your note, and reviewed the box change. Looks great now. Thanks! Georgewilliamherbert 03:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
That was apretty fast deletion
of Attilio Piccirilli. i was just writing a note on the discussion page when the article dissapeared. As one of the folks working on it i feel that this move was a bit previous. Carptrash 03:31, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- well I am very much in favor of removing such stuff - it was just a bit of a shock because I was there, only suddenly there was no THERE. I'll post at least a stub shortly. Carptrash 03:41, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Well if it speed that you want then it's speed that you'll get. As it turned out i had a 2/3 finished article on Attilio, so I posted it. However i have been kicked off the internet by my wife, so . . . . . . . ................................... Carptrash 04:27, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well. thank you very much. You just doubled my barnstar collection in one fell swoop. You might want to take it back when/if you see the really cheesy artickes that i have milked out of Attilio Piccirilli. (give me at least 15 minutes). WP:DANNY
I thought it would be a good idea to use it for something meaningful rather than something stupid like WP:TOBY. Also, Jimbo says right on the Wikipedia:Office Actions page that he created it for Danny, but if Danny finds the redirect disparaging I suppose it should be deleted, though, otherwise I don't see the harm. Also I think it might help improve awareness among users who might otherwise be inclined to revert Danny's edits (wondering "well who the hell is Danny, anyway" if they haven't heard of him). Have you spoken with Danny about it? I'd say leave it up to him. — Mar. 22, '06 [04:29] <freakofnurxture|talk>
Rue Dussault
Curious as to why you despeedied Rue Dussault - I can't see anything that marks this road as noteworthy - the tallest building mentioned doesn't even have it's own article. I'm going to put it on AFD. exolon 00:28, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
splitskies
Why did you delete the splitskies article? Where else would one find out the history and definition of such an important term, but on wikipedia? Please, repost it. Thanks a lot.

My RfA
Thank you so much for supporting me in my recent RfA, which passed with a final tally of 56/1/0. I thank you for your confidence in my abilities. If you ever need anything or find that I have made an error, please let me know on my talk page. — Scm83x hook 'em 21:14, 25 March 2006 (UTC) |
Cfd for Category:Fuck
In closing this CfD, you closed it with a consensus to keep, but I count 8 Deletes (including the nomination and the BJAODN suggestion) and 5 Keeps (including the "reanme if kept" vote). I hardly call this a consensus for keep. Fightindaman 05:22, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Hmm
I never noticed someone removed the big red button, do you know if it happened recently, nobody has had to press it lately thankfully, saves me some headaches, accuracy seems pretty good now -- Tawker 05:59, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
User talk talk:Kittenmarks
You deleted User talk talk:Kittenmarks with the reason (error page title). I created that page by clicking on "Discuss this page" after clicking on "View source" of User_talk:Kittenmarks. 1.What was the error? 2.Can you answer my question that I left on that page ("Why is this page protected?") Thanks. Heqs 23:57, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Branchlist deletes
Copied from my talk:
- I processed most of the CSD's, but some of the template were in use. Please wrap template CSD's in <noinclude></noinclude> tags, so they do not mark the articles they are transcluded within for CSD as well. The templates I did not delete have been removed from CSD, please orhpan them before relisting for CSD, or list them on TFD. Thanks, — xaosflux Talk 13:53, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Yes, thanks, I've never marked for deletion before. I am at this moment going through all affected articles and have come across one or two that I had missed in the changeover. I was horrified to see three big deletion templates on Wikipedia:Root page and then realised why and put the correct templates in place! I'm getting there! --Lindosland 13:58, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
RFA
Hey Xaosflux, at this time I probably wouldn't accept an RFA nom (But don't worry, I will soon!). Another user has expressed interest in nominating me later this month, and as such I'm going to hold off til later on in April, once my "three month mark" has passed. I appreciate your interest in the matter. --lightdarkness (talk) 04:43, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Just so you know
All automated editing is now on the two bot accounts, if you check my contribs I haven't done a single auto edit in a month or so :) -- Tawker 03:48, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks! Who knows how that one will go, I wasn't going to accept at first then Danny's pre accept vote pressured me (ah, I need to stop bowing to our Fearless leader's fearless assistant :). Oh well, either way I don't care, I've just got ot get better at flagging actual article edits as major rather than minor :) -- Tawker 04:19, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, no idea what will happen, it's close, I'd hate to be the 'crat who gets to close it :o -- Tawker 02:46, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Rfa note
"Would unblocking other accounts of yours be your primary remedy for it's unblocking?" Could you clarify on the question a bit for me, I don't know exactly what you mean. For what's unblocking are you referring to, I'm kind of confused on the question. Sorry -- Tawker 04:26, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I've replied, sorry about the slow reply, I was working on some more questions and I managed to crash Firefox while doing the questions so I have to start over. Seeing how you're awake and probably waiting for a reply, I gave you priority :) -- Tawker 04:53, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry! I restored it as per your request. Deltabeignet 05:17, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about the xx-y deletion requests. If necessary to maintain links, put them back. However, it would be better if you restored all possible xx-y, unless you expect the software to be fixed soon. Deletion of Dave Eversman
Hello, I posted an article about Dave Eversman, a republican candidate for the 2nd Congressional District in Georgia, and you deleted it. I was wondering why you did so. I believe that since he ran in 2004, and did garner 1/3 of the vote, he at least deserves a mention. It's not like there are any other important Dave Eversmans. Let me know. Thanks, Torrey
re: User:Buckeye80
Hello Xaosflux. Thanks for having a look. Do you admins have an access to deleted edits? Because the userpage that Buckeye vandalized only did one edit itself, and that was another vandalism to User:Durin. I'm suspected an admin deleted whatever Buckeye vandalized, because the userpage did not previously exist. Regards,Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 03:59, 5 April 2006 (UTC).
- I've looked it up User:Bucknuts23 was the vandalized page, and User:Rogerd deleted the vandalized page because the vandal edit was the initial edit. You can see if you look at the deleted history (admins only) that buckeye90 vandalized the Bucknuts23 page. Regards, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 04:01, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thankyou for chasing it up Xaosflux. I appreciate it. Regards,Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 04:09, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

I think 125.236.44.47 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), 125.236.44.48 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), and 125.236.44.49 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) should also be banned. As I said, the four IPs were concurrently engaged in extensive vandalism of that page. - Emt147 Burninate! 02:44, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi from Dennis O'Brien
Thank you for your kind comments regarding my edits of fire related articles, such as the Our Lady of the Angels School Fire. I am new to to Wikipedia and very impressed with all the interesting articles here, generally well written and researched. I hate to see vandalism, but it does seem to get corrected quickly. Best wishes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DennisJOBrien@yahoo.com (talk • contribs)
Rangeblock
I've lifted your rangeblock of 125.236.44.0/23, because unfortunately a good regular editor was getting hit by it. Just letting you know why a lifted it; the user edits regularly from that range. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 02:28, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, accidental deletion.
Sorry, but I did not delete the content on purpose - I think my mouse accidentally selected the text and then it got deleted. I actually go to school at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, and it was a mistake - I wouldn't delete the information at all. Sorry for the headache- but I am most definitely not a vandal, but an active and honest Wikipedian. Thanks for undoing my mistake, though.

Placing welcome templates
When placing welcome templates, would you consider using subst: ? For more information please see Template substitution. Thanks! — xaosflux Talk 03:28, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Xaosflux. OK, but let me read Wikipedia:Template substitution first and then get back to you. Waikiki!!! --ElectricEye 03:31, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I found it a little confusing because I don't understand everything mentioned. But began to realize someone could vandalize my template and then it appears on ALL NEW USER TALK PAGES. Therefore I will use subst. Originally I was thinking it saved diskspace on Wikipedia to not use subst, but I think preventing BROADSCALED vandalism is more important especially if someone vandalizes my template with pornography. Thanks for the communication. Waikiki!!! --ElectricEye 03:38, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yea, the code makes the usertalk page longer, but the risk redcution is really worth it. The diskspace for text is negligable anyway. — xaosflux Talk 03:40, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- You are sure working fast, are you running a AWB or a bot? — xaosflux Talk 04:08, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

vandalism
I noticed you were working on the administrators' vandalism reports page, and I was hoping you could expedite blocking 68.237.197.238 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). He has already admitted to being Zarbon (who is blocked) and he's vandalizing a tremendous amount of pages. I can't keep up. Kafziel 20:28, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Kashmir pages
Hello Xoasflux. Socks are still being used on the pages [3]. I think that the rest should be blocked now too since person didn't stop after first was blocked. Thanks. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 23:01, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've place full protection on both those pages, and noted as to the protection in the WP:AN section regarding this complaint. If you haven't already, you may want to file WP:RFCU's against the suspects. — xaosflux Talk 00:10, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for helping. Well hopefully they stop now so that we can actually talk about it. --a.n.o.n.y.m t 00:14, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Hello, fellow-Wikipedian; I was wondering if you could tell me what are your standards for adminship? You have been opposing quitte a number of requests for adminship and they're most by unexperienced wikipedians. I'm not saying that having high standards is bad (in fact, I think that perfectionism is a rather positive thing), however, I would like to know what needs to be done to make you valuate a user good enough to become an Administrator.
Sincerely yours. --HolyRomanEmperor 22:34, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
