Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Runescape. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. OhanaUnitedTalk page 08:14, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Hello there,
First, I want to thank you for taking the time to respond to my removal of the link that you placed on Runescape. Furthermore, I appreciate that you did not add the link back the moment you saw that I removed it. I think I should welcome you to Wikipedia.
Hello X Constant X. Welcome to Wikipedia! This is a website where everyone is welcomed to pitch in their own knowledge to just about anything in the world's most up-to-date encyclopedia.
The quick links to Wikipedia are on the left side of every page. Here're some links that you should take time reading them (don't worry, they're short and very easy to understand)
If you need help, simply go to Wikipedia:Questions or ask on my talk page. Last thing, don't forget to sign your name when you do edits on a talk page. Signing a page is as easy as typing four tildes (~~~~). I hope that your experience in Wikipedia will be a memorable one.
Wikipedia works on a consensus basis. If you take a look at Talk:Runescape#Fansites, you can see that we reached a consensus to place only 3 fansites in the article. Consensus doesn't last till eternity, so you can always try to bring up this issue on the talk page. However, unless something major happened, those 3 will be the ones in the article. Orphaned non-free media (Image:RSClassic.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:RSClassic.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit] This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Aluminium, you will be blocked from editing. Black Kite 18:59, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
