[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 07:51, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

XVRWiki (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Your block should be undone. Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia. XVRWiki has great information on a set of topics. It is only natural that the two websites cross-pollinate each other. The goal of XVRWiki is parallel to the goal of Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

This does not address your violations of WP:USERNAME, WP:COI, and WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 11:37, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

XVRWiki (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

This is all too much. Is there a problem? Let's see what we can work out. We all benefit from sharing information about useful topics.

Decline reason:

Please only make one unblock request at a time. Sir Sputnik (talk) 14:53, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is a problem, as you've been told multiple times. See WP:USERNAME, WP:COI, and WP:PROMO. If you aren't willing to do so, there's no chance of you being unblocked. --Yamla (talk) 12:05, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

OK, the username can be Acro from XVRWiki. This account will only ever be operated by an XVRWiki user.

Decline reason:

You still haven't addressed WP:COI and WP:PROMO. If you aren't willing to do so, there's no chance of you being unblocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:21, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request removed

No, this wasn't an automated block; an automated process noted the conflict of interest (user named XVRWiki adding links to a site called XVRWiki), and a human being analyzed and then processed the report. We don't get to add our own websites to Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:46, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What are you referring to? - XVRWiki
This edit shows you citing www.xvrwiki.org as a source. This proves a clear violation of Wikipedia username policy, specifically the "promotional usernames" section. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:21, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

XVRWiki (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

The username can be what is written above. Conflict of interest does not apply.

Decline reason:

As you don't think you have a conflict of interest in editing about your own website, there are no grounds to remove the block. You're quickly running out of on-wiki chances- making another request that does not show progress towards understanding the reason for the block will likely result in you losing access to this page. 331dot (talk) 08:21, 7 October 2024 (UTC)d[reply]

There was no editing on the subject of XVRWiki.

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

XVRWiki (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Username is requested to be changed to XVRAcro. XVRWiki won't be cited on Wikipedia, as things are with the state of both sites at present. This avoids conflict of interest issues, and reliable source issues.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=Username is requested to be changed to XVRAcro. XVRWiki won't be cited on Wikipedia, as things are with the state of both sites at present. This avoids conflict of interest issues, and reliable source issues. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=Username is requested to be changed to XVRAcro. XVRWiki won't be cited on Wikipedia, as things are with the state of both sites at present. This avoids conflict of interest issues, and reliable source issues. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=Username is requested to be changed to XVRAcro. XVRWiki won't be cited on Wikipedia, as things are with the state of both sites at present. This avoids conflict of interest issues, and reliable source issues. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}
Linking to your own website as you did is REFSPAM. Please don't mislead yourself. Cabayi (talk) 08:33, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Besides which, XVRWiki is exactly as reliable a source as Wikipedia itself, which is to say not at all. Further, XVRWiki has precisely one user, named Acro, which is what you wanted this is account renamed to, so one must assume it is you. Conflict of interest does not apply somehow? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:52, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just elaborating on what Jpgordon said... wikis are not considered reliable sources. Wikis are self-published sources, where the users submit the content with no editorial review. This lack of editorial oversight disqualifies them from being considered reliable. That is why Wikipedia itself is not a reliable source. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:02, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I won't cite XVRWiki any more. I have updated the unblock request to include this. XVRWiki (talk) 18:25, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What sort of edits would you like to make here, if unblocked? Elli (talk | contribs) 20:18, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
