Flat lists
Thanks for elaborating and quoting WP:FLATLIST in your edit summary for Metropolitan line. Including WP:FLATLIST in your original edit summary would have signalled to me that your original edit was correct. Regards, Bazza (talk) 11:41, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- In my original edit I was applying my general understanding of the Manual of Style as it applies to capitalisation rather than any specific policy, and it didn't occur to me that the edit would be contested (hence my marking it as minor). The exact policy doc is not one I keep in my mind, unlike, say, MOS:RANGE; but nevertheless I do take your point. XAM2175 (T) 12:58, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
Converting citations
When converting citations from one format to another, please take care to retain the links to the relevant publication articles. You have removed them at British Rail Class 600 and numerous other articles. Colwest (talk) 21:41, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- To the best of my knowledge there is no requirement that they be used. On the other hand, your edits to convert templated cites to simple text were contrary to the guideline at WP:CITEVAR, specifically; "to be avoided... removing citation templates from an article that uses them consistently".
