[edit]An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:M16expand o.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. I fixed your link to Connecticut Route 2A to meet the standards at WP:USSH. Please read that, specifically the "linking" section. Thank you. --NE2 02:19, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Image:US-37.gif listed for deletion
[edit]One of your images you uploaded, Image:US-37.gif, is listed for deletion. There are two reasons why I listed the image there. If you look on IFD, you will see why. Feel free to comment. V60 VTalk - VDemolitions 17:32, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Connecticut Turnpike Exit List, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. A tag has been placed on Energy Resource Facilities in Connecticut, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Nyttend 04:45, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for File:US-85-sign-albuquerque.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:US-85-sign-albuquerque.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:US-24 IN-101 Dec-08.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:US-24 IN-101 Dec-08.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 18:16, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Northern Correctional Institute
[edit]Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Northern Correctional Institute. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Northern Correctional Institution. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Northern Correctional Institution - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 03:50, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
The article Northern Correctional Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Copy of Northern Correctional Institution
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 00:43, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
New Mexico State Road 347
[edit]I see that you created New Mexico State Road 347, and that's great! We need editors in different places who are familiar with the other states to create the missing state highway articles out there, or work on the existing ones. WP:USRD, the US Roads WikiProject, is in the middle of a "stub-reduction drive" this year. Our goal is to decrease the overall total of Stub-Class articles by 2011 from the total we had at the start of the year. You can see our progress here. What I'd like to ask of you is help expanding the article you've created, because it's a brand new Stub-Class article now.
That's simple to do by adding content about the road so that the article has at least two of the "Big Three" sections started. Those sections are the "Route description", "History" and the junction list (usually called "Major intersections" in many states). Right now, the NM 347 article has all of the content in the lead. Most of that first paragraph could be separated into a RD section and leaving the very first sentence as the lead for the time being. Then the article would just need a junction list, and it would be upgraded to Start-Class. Alternatively, if you have reliable sources to add a history section, that could be added for a second section. If all three (RD, History, junction list) are present, it could be upgraded to C-Class at least. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at my talk page anytime. Question regarding File:US Speed Limits 2014.svg
[edit]I was just wondering what the source for the data is. Just curious because when I was driving across country last year the speed limits in a couple of these states were different than in the file. Again, just wondering. Regards, — dainomite 01:44, 6 May 2014 (UTC)

[edit]117th Congress
[edit]Coalitions, for the most part, do not exist in American government. Given that the independent senators (Sens. King and Sanders) are part of the Democratic caucus (the senator from Vermont serves in Democratic leadership too), it is unnecessary to add the qualifier "coalition" to the Democratic Senate majority.
Sdrqaz (talk) 21:46, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree with your reasoning on eliminating "coalition" from the senate majority in the 117th United States Congress. If you look at the page for the 110th United States Congress, you'll see that it does have the Senate majority listed as a Democratic (coalition). We need to be consistent. Either we add "coalition" to the senate majority in the 117th United States Congress, or we eliminate "coalition" from the 110th United States Congress. It's important to note the Democratic caucus' majorities for both congressional sessions were predicated upon the same conditions: Democrats did not have enough seats to constitute a majority in and of themselves; their "majority" was only made possible with two Independent senators agreeing to align with their caucus. Therefore, I would argue that the majority caucus is truly a multiparty coalition. Wxstorm (talk) 16:43, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
