[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Bengmealea.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Bengmaelea.JPG. The copy called Image:Bengmaelea.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. G'day and thanks
[edit]Thanks very much for tidying some of those backasswards sentences in Khmer Empire. That one was on my ever lengthening to-do list. Always good to meet a fellow Cambodia fan too. See you 'round the 'pedia. Paxse 08:07, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
A small request
[edit]Writer old chap/lass person, is there any chance that I could persuade you to sign up as a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Cambodia? You already do more great work on Cambodia articles than most of the members we have and active members are thin on the ground. I've just finished a census of Cambodian articles at List of Cambodia-related topics and we have begun the process of assessing them - several articles you have worked on are ranking higher than the average Cambodia article (which is about three lines at present). It would be great to have you as part of the project and perhaps work on a collaboration to get some of these articles up to Wikipedia:Good Article status. Paxse 17:37, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks :) I'm managing this level of activity by seriously neglecting pretty much everything else. I'm practicing "Moderation in all things" including moderation itself. Don't worry about putting your name down at the wikiproject, the position is a sinecure with no commitment required. It just helps to keep track of editors interested in Cambodia and people who are or have been working on Cambodian articles. I've been thinking that it would be good to have some images to go with the various Khmer kings of yore - what do you think about photographs of statues? Suriyavarman II for example seems to have a few extant statues which would brighten up the article a little. Cheers, Paxse 05:20, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Khao Pra Wiharn
[edit]I was there 4 weeks ago and entered from the Thai side. No visa required, only a 50 baht fee, but I strongly recommend you take a Thai-speaking friend with you otherwise the costs quickly "escalate" when they realise you are a foreigner, and other "unofficial" fees for foreigners start to appear. --Gak (talk) 01:18, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Speak a little Thai. Have only been in Thailand for 8 months. A friend went with me which solved the problems. They will ask to see your passport even though you don't need a visa, so make sure you have that with you. --Gak (talk) 08:41, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Christ Church London.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Christ Church London.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:06, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Sdok Kok Thom
[edit]I've found some discrepancy in this article, which appears mostly written by you (e.g. "The text includes the oft-cited detail that he came from a country named Java which meanwhile by most scholars, such as Charles Higham, was seen as a foreign people living in the east whose name is derived probably from Sanskrit yavana (barbarious), perhaps referring to the kingdom of Champa" while Higham simply reports Vickery's intepretation of chvea, Higham is not an epigraphist). I'd like you to take part in possible editing. --15:25, 22 November 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Riccardo.fabris (talk • contribs)
Hello, Riccardo. Yes indeed, feel free to edit. Glad to have someone to collaborate on the question of Java vs chvea vs something else. It's a complicated one.Writer128 (talk) 23:52, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
