About infoboxes...

[edit]

Hi there, I've noticed that you've recently been adding infoboxes to articles about Toyotas. While I encourage you to add more, I've also noticed that the only information you've added to these infoboxes are the name and manufacturer. It doesn't really take much time or effort to add in more info to the infobox, so please add more information to your infoboxes in the future. Thanks. --ApolloBoy 23:28, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WRC

[edit]

Very nice additions to the result pages. Beginning to think I was the only real contributer here. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 16:14, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now I'm not so sure I can keep up with your pace. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page) 16:00, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WRC WikiProject

[edit]

Hi do you think there might be milage in starting a WRC WikiProject to attract more editors, provide a base for agreeing/coordinating the way to work etc. We won't be able to get to F1 level I know by it might provide more focus to those that do take an interest. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:02, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About the webscreenshot tag

[edit]

I removed the {{web-screenshot}} tag from Image:2006 Mexico Rally Citröen Xsara T4.jpg and Image:2005 Japan Rally Citröen Xsara T4.jpg as those images are clearly not images of a webpage, but rather some photos you happened to find on a webpage (yes there is a difference). If you still think the images qualify as fair use please pick a more suitable copyright tag, and write a fair use rationale for each of the articles that include the image. Please note that unless a new (suitable) copyright tag is added within 7 days the images will most likely be deleted. Thanks. --Sherool (talk) 12:42, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Citröen_Xsara_T4.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

RU Forgetting to Log In?

[edit]

Please see: User talk:202.40.210.246, and User talk:85.165.205.144; it appears you've been forgetting to log in. That creates some problems for us, albeit minor one's; for you, it means you miss messages like the one about copyrights, and you can't use your contribs very well as they are scattered all over, plus a few other things that aren't great. Note, IP contribs are monitored ('patroled') and scrutinized very closely. Best regards, FrankB 05:25, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

inuse

[edit]

You placed a large number of inuse templates on incomplete article but you have not worked on them for weeks. If I don't hear from you I will remove those templates. Agathoclea 09:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also marked the articles for deletion. Agathoclea 06:45, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WRC event wins

[edit]

Just noticed you added the list of all time winners to the pages for the 2006 and 2005 championships. Is this wise? I see several problems:

  1. The list already appears on the World Rally Championship page, so you're just duplicating info. Whenever the list next needs updated (e.g. when Loeb wins again), you'll have much more work for yourself.
  2. Related to the above point, other editors wouldn't expect to find the list on these pages. Therefore, these pages are less likely to be edited as required, and more likely to be out of date as a result (esp. 2005, which is now "set in stone" as far as results are concerned).
  3. The list isn't relevant to individual years. This is especially true further down the list, where drivers who have long since retired are being listed on the 2005/2006 page.
  4. Technically, the list isn't accurate - by the end of last season, Loeb only had 20 WRC wins. I don't think it's correct to include the tally of Loeb's wins through the first half of 2006 on a page which only covers up to the end of 2005.

Just wanted to make you aware of this, in case you were planning on adding the list to other pages too. Regards -- DeLarge 07:25, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stephane Sarrazain, Monte Carlo 2005 Hello, and thank you for your contributions on articles related to rallying. I'd like to invite you to become a part of WikiProject World Rally, a new WikiProject aiming to improve coverage of World Rally Championship and related articles on Wikipedia.

As you can see from the image on the left, we haven't achieved a four-wheel-drive yet. If you would like to help out and participate, please visit the project page for more information. Thanks, Prolog 04:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
